Verfahren zum Chlorieren von Acetylen
Tetrachloräthan wird in der Technik durch Ein-
leiten \iiii l@hlor und :Acetylen in flüssiges, heißes
Tetracliloräthan in l1egeii\Nart Von Katalysatoren
hergestellt. Durch Verkochen init alkalisch reagie-
renden Flüssigkeiten oder durch Erhitzen in An-
@@esen@ieit \-i>ii Katalysatoren gewinnt man daraus
"hrichlcir<it@hylen. Dieses dient zur Herstellung Von
f'erclilorätliylen durch Chlorieren des Trichlor-
iitliyIens z11111 1'eirtacliloriitliail und nachfolgenden
Abspaltung Von Chlorwasserstoff.
Es wurde ;;efunrlcn, daß diese Verbindungen auf
einfacli<# \@cis@ unmittelbar ohne Bildung Von Zwi-
schenprodukten gewonnen \\-erden können. Es wird
dabei so Vorgegangen, claß man ein strömendes Ge-
niisch \-o11 i Volumen Acetylen und mindestens 6 Vo-
Beispiel i meiner mit grobem Sand gefüllten Mischkammer läßt man 8o 1/Std. Acetylen
UmsetzurLgsgcfäß eintreten, dessen Querschnitt so bemessen

z. B. by inside or outside arranged cooling surfaces. A major advantage of the procedure. consists in the fact that, depending on the regulation of the reaction temperature, different types of hydrochloride can be obtained; at a temperature of 200 to 400 °, a considerable amount of tetrachloroethane is formed in addition to perchlorethylene, while at 400 to 600 ° mainly perchlorethylene and no tetrachloroethane is formed. In this way, the products can be adjusted to the respective needs without difficulty. From the gas that leaves the reaction vessel, you can. the chlorinated hydrocarbons are separated from chlorine and hydrogen chloride by cooling. It is also possible to feed the gas in to further reactions. Example i my mixing chamber filled with coarse sand is allowed to take 8o 1 / hour. Acetylene and 8oo 1 / hour. Chlorine flows in and, through suitable cross-sections of the gas discharge, ensures that the gas velocities are at least 10 to 201 / hour. be. The gas is now allowed to enter a conversion vessel through one or more nozzles that are extended to form a syringe or are funnel-shaped, the cross-section of which is such that the flow rate of the gas is no more than 0.5 m / sec. is decreased. At the point of entry, a reaction occurs between the gases that does not appear to be visible. By suitable arrangement of a cooling device in the reaction vessel, the reaction heat released is dissipated to such an extent that a maximum temperature of between 400 and 600 ° is established. The outflowing gas table is passed through a cooler, whereby the chlorination products formed are condensed. 1Uan gains an anhydrous mixture here, which, in addition to 5 to 10% flow, 80 to 90% perchlorethylene and about 5 to 10% hexachloroate, can keep up and through Fractionation can be broken down into its components
