Man unterscheidet außerdem Verschraubungen, die unter :'\nwendutig geeigneten Dichtungsmaterials (angelegte Dichtungsringe), z. ß. aus Gummi, zum Dichten gebracht werden und solche mit metalli- schen Dichtungsflächen. Für Rohrleitungen, wie sie insbesondere in der Milchwirtschaft und in Molkerei- betrieben gebraucht werden, sind heute durchweg Verschraubungen mit Gummieinlage üblich. Solche Gummiringe sind aber aus hygienischen und reini- gungstechnischen Gründen sehr häufig nicht er- wünscht. Verschraubungen mit metallischer Dich- tung sind vorzuziehen. Die bisher üblichen gummilosen Verschraubungen haben aber den großen Nachteil, daß die empfind- lichen Dichtungsflächen sowie die Gewinde beim Zerlegen der Leitungen leicht beine Fallen oder \Viederzusammensetzen, durch Stoß oder Schlag beschädigt und dadurch unbrauchbar werden. Die nachstehend beschriebene und in den Abb. t bis ,1 beispielsweise dargestellte gummilose Rohr- verschraubung nach der Erfindung beseitigt diesen Vbelstand, ohne die Zugänglichkeit beim Reinigen zu behindern.
