Kupfer-Silizium-Legierung Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Kupfer-Silizium-Legierungen
mit verbesserten Eigenschaften.Copper-silicon alloy The invention relates to copper-silicon alloys
with improved properties.
Legierungen mit höheren Sifiziumgehalten schon Nei Raum temperaturen merUar an;
Copper-silicon alloys with silicon contents of 5 to 400/0 and more, -the low silicon contents z. B. 5 to 7 '/ o for casting purposes z. B. used for bells, if necessary, ls with additions of z. B. manganese and aluminum, while alloys with their higher silicon contents, e.g. B. 10 to 400/0 for the introduction of silicon in copper alloys, such as. B. silicon bronzes, special bronzes, and special brasses, b, are used, show the inconvenience of oxidation, which can lead to decay. The oxygen in the air attacks alloys with higher Si contents even at room temperatures below merU; At higher temperatures the attack, which is to be understood as intergranular corrosion, goes so far that the metal blocks completely disintegrate into powder. This attack is also considerably and unpleasantly noticeable in alloys with low silicon contents, which are stable at temperatures below 300 ° C, but have a strong tendency to oxidation at higher temperatures, so that castings are in the mold Cover with oxide crusts, which in heavy castings, such as B. Glo, clcen, can be zentirneterdick.
It has now been found that this would be done away with or reduced to a tolerable level if the copper-silicon alloys with silicon contents of 5 to 50% and more are kept as free as possible of arsenic, bismuth, Germanium, lead, antimony, tin and thallium, the contents of which are below 0.1%, preferably below 0.1%, and the alloy also has a gel content of beryllium above 0.1% and / or a zinc content above 0 .05%, the beryllium content expediently not exceeding 0.5010 , although larger amounts do not exert a harmful influence and retain the beneficial influence, and the zinc content can be up to 5010 and more, but preferably in the range is from 0.05 to 0.15010.
oberhalb o,-%, bleiben die Wirkunglen die Z)
gleichen, jedoch kommen wegen
an Zink verhältnismäßig tief liegt, z. B. um o, i %, während bei tieferen Temperaturen
'Mengen bis 5% und mehr angewendet werden können.Through a series of, experiments it was found that the above-apart set Practice # levels more be reduced, but not disappear völilig when the content 'of the Legierl-ingien of arsenic, bismuth, germanium, lead, antimony, tin and thallium as low as possible (Let these substances promote intercrystalline corrosion. It is practically impossible to absolutely rule out the presence of these substances, and it has also been shown that the above malfunctions do not occur if the above-mentioned metals or metal ions or one of these or some of these substances are below 0.1 and also below 0.1% and the alloy has a beryllium and / or zinc content. The disadvantageous phenomena mentioned above are completely absent, both at low and at higher temperatures, when the content is increased, for example above half o -%, the Wirkunglen remain the same Z), but higher levels do not come because of the price of beryllium mostly in question. With beryllium together or in place of beryllium alloys can tzen a content of zinc besi 'as zinc in amounts in excess o, o5% ebenfaIls the above-mentioned u, ngünstigen phenomena verfiindert, but at higher temperatures only when the content of zinc is relatively low, z. B. by o, i%, while at lower temperatures' amounts of up to 5% and more can be used.
