Diese mittleren Oeffnungen c1 sind durch Schieber oder Klappen verschliefsbar. Die Heizgase nehmen, sobald die Oeffnungen c1 geschlossen sind, ihren Weg in der Richtung des ausgezogenen Pfeiles durch die oberen Oeffnungen c und erhitzen hierbei sämmtliche Rohrlagen gleichmäfsig.
