Zu diesem Zwecke wird die durch das Haupt-Patent geschützte Einrichtung dahin abgeändert, dafs die in den Feuerraum eingesetzte Zwischenwand b, in welcher die Rohrenden α gelagert sind, aufser durch die oberen Oeffnungen c durch Oeffnungen c¹ mitten zwischen den beiden Rostlagen durchbrochen ist. Diese mittleren Oeffnungen c¹ sind durch Schieber oder Klappen verschliefsbar. Die Heizgase nehmen, sobald die Oeffnungen c¹ geschlossen sind, ihren Weg in der Richtung des ausgezogenen Pfeiles durch die oberen Oeffnungen c und erhitzen hierbei sämmtliche Rohrlagen gleichmäfsig.
