Description

It is known that by the rib-shaped formation of a roof tile surface the water to be drained can lead in the direction of fall so that this safe drainage is also given in strong winds and the drifting of water and drifting snow in the lateral folds can be prevented. The present roof tile is formed with such ribs that they have a substantial height and thereby not only fulfill the aforementioned purpose, but also an essential one at the same time Mean stiffening of the cross-section. It is therefore possible to have such a To give roof tiles a large free length while maintaining a large load-bearing capacity, as desired for new roof structures. The training specified in the claim of the ribs with a height falling from head to foot so that in the line of fall a continuous rib edge is not only technical, but also also an aesthetic effect. The essential technical effect is thus given that the wind that blows up the roof does not touch the otherwise free heads the ribs can catch on the interlocking and prefers both water and drifted snow at this sensitive point in the butt joint between the rib of the overlapping and the covered brick is pressed into the interlocking.

Fig. 1 shows a roof tile according to the invention with attached ribs, whereby the two roof tiles 1, 2 overlap each other and in spite of this given: @bstufuitg 3 the top edges of the ribs .4,; flush at the same height butt against each other. so that no shadow effect occurs.

Fig.2 zeigt derartige sich überdeckende Dachziegel 6, 7, 8 im Schnitt, wobei die Kopfverfalzung zu der erwähnten Abstufung führt, während die oberen Rippenkanten g, to, 1 i eine gerade Linie bilden. Die gestrichelte Gerade .-1-.9 deutet den Verlauf der Rillen an.2 shows such overlapping roof tiles 6, 7, 8 in section, wherein the head rabbet leads to the mentioned gradation, while the upper rib edges g, to, 1 i form a straight line. The dashed straight line.-1-.9 indicates the course of the grooves.

Fig. 3 erläutert den hiermit gegebenen technischen Vorteil. Fig. 3 explains the technical advantage given hereby. While when the water is driven by wind to a stepped rib edge 12. 13 the water is caught at the head of the upper rib 13 according to the arrow 14 and into the joint penetrates easily according to arrow 15, it is over a continuous rib edge 16, 17 driven away by the wind according to arrow 18, without a stowage at the joint entry.
