Description

Process for the production of spatial images The known spatial images require very bright lighting for viewing them, so that, for example can only be used in schools for teaching purposes if the lighting conditions are particularly favorable are present. Of course, it is desirable that the spatial form of the pictures when viewed with the usual two-tone glasses even then as clearly as possible occurs when the mostly moderate lighting is present is. The simplest known method for producing spatial images is to that the two partial images, for example in a red and a blue-green color are printed on top of each other on a white background (complementary colors). When looking at Such a spatial image with red-blue-green glasses appears the blue-green residual image even then still clearly, so disturbing, when the lighting conditions are particularly good are cheap. The effect is also milder, but still not satisfactory when the two partial images are overprinted on a lightly colored background or takes place in such a way that the remaining white ground is printed in a mixed color will.

The room images prepared according to these principles require the To make the stereo effect work well, consider an extraordinary bright lighting. But the brighter the view, the stronger, i.e. more disturbing, the residual image appears, which affects the stereo effect.

For educational purposes in schools these images are taken from the ones given Reasons can only be used profitably with precisely coordinated lighting.

According to the invention, the disruptive effect of the residual image is eliminated by that the complementary colored partial images on the corresponding printing plates so appropriate "- that they produce negative images when printed, i. H. the the Lines generating the image do not receive any color and only the base is printed in color.

Both plates produced in this way are printed on top of each other with the complementary colors. If, for example, the colors red and blue-green are used for this purpose, then obtained the lines of the red sub-image that merge with the lines of the blue-green sub-image not in register when printing teal and the lines of teal Partial image is red in color, whereas the reason for both partial images has the mixed color. When looking at the spatial image, the residual images disappear almost completely, and as far as they still appear, they do not disturb the stereo effect.

It is essential that the stereo effect is straight when looking at the picture comes into effect with reduced brightness.
