Many building blocks have already become known which, when placed under a mortar layer, result in masonry. The previously known solid stones only allow masonry with a width of 12, 25, 38 cm, etc. The dimension 12 cm for partition walls and the dimension 38 cm for external walls is too wide, while the dimension 25 cm for external walls is too small. A good heat-insulating wall made of solid stone must be 30 cm wide in areas of our climate. A partition wall, on the other hand, only needs to be about 9.5 cm thick. A suitable hollow masonry can only be achieved with difficulty with the known solid bricks, since the dimensions of the known bricks do not readily allow a 1-lauerwetik in the association in this case.
The solid block according to the invention is intended to overcome these difficulties, and in addition the selected stone format should allow both solid walls and hollow walls to be built. This is achieved in that the length of the stone is equal to three times its width, increased by one or two mortar joints. The height of the stone according to the invention can correspond to the heights of the previously known stones, for. B. 6.5 cm, 10.4 cm, etc. This ensures that, for. B. with a stone length of 30 cm and a stone width of 9.3 cm a masonry of 30 cm width can be built both as full masonry and as hollow masonry in the normal association. For example, you can achieve full masonry by building the runner layer from three stones. The greater amount of work required for this is amply offset by the greater length of the stone in both layers. An appropriate hollow masonry can, for. B. can be achieved by matting the stretcher layers normally while leaving out the middle runner of the runner layer. The -Nfauerwerk has just the required strength, which is necessary both in terms of thermal engineering and in terms of statics and, in particular, is also sufficient for multi-storey buildings. The building block can be made from all known materials, e.g. B. from Schwetntnstein. Concrete block or brick.
