Man hat bisher bei diesen Karteien zwischen die einzelnen Konten vollwandige Leitkarten aus PreBspan, Papier o. dgl. eingelegt und auf diese die Stammkarten aufgesetzt, also beispielsweise die bei einer Bank liegende Karte mit Unterschriftsproben des betreffenden Konteninhabers. Diese Leitkarten werden unmittelbar vor oder hinter den zugehörigen Kontenblättern eingereiht, damit bei einer Bewegung auf <lern Konto alle zusammengehörigen Belege bequem beieinanderliegen.
