Der so gefederte Sitz schwingt frei als Ganzes. Da die Ausgangsstellung bzw. Ruhestellung der Schwinghebel etwa 45° beträgt, ist einerseits gewährleistet, daß der Federungsweg genügend groß ist, und ebenso ist das Abwandern des so gefederten Sitzes in der Horizontalen, bei Ausführung der Schwingbewegung, nur gering. Die Konstruktion ist denkbar einfach und dabei stabil. Als Verbindungselemente zwischen Sitz- bzw. Sattelfläche dienen Schwinghebel im Zusammenwirken mit einer oder mehreren Federn. Die Federvorspannung, hat kein einseitiges Hochstehen des Sitzes zur Folge, dieser bleibt waagerecht, gleichgültig ob er belastet oder unbelastet ist.
