Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine. Vorfeuchtemaschine, insbesondere zur Behandlung von Tabak u. dgl.The invention relates to a. Pre-humidifier, in particular for the treatment of tobacco and the like.

In den genannten Maschinen wird der aus den Fässern kommende Tabak vorgefeuchtet, damit er weich wird und ohne großen Bruchanteil gelöst werden kann. Die Maschinen sind mit einem endlosen Mitnehmer versehen, auf dem das Gut durch den Behandlungsraum der Maschine geführt wird. Am. Ende des Mitnehmers wird' das Gut abgeworfen, und der Mitnehmer läuft auf der Unterseite leer zurück. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß das im Tabak. bereits enthaltene und das durch das bei dem Herausnehmen aus dem Faß entstehende Tabakkurz sehr dazu neigt, an den Teilen des Mitnehmers der Maschine klebenzubleiben. Es kommt hierbei vielfach vor, daß diese kurzen Tabakteilchen in einer gewissen Menge zusammenkleben und; sobald sie ein bestimmtes Gewicht erreicht haben, plötzlich abfallen. Dies hat zur Folge, daß diese Teile zusammen mit dem anderen Tabak in den Fabrikationsgang gelangen. Dieser Zustand ist unerwünscht, weil man bei den hochwertigen Tabaken auf helle Farbe Wert legt und weil dieses angeklebte Kurz durch die dauernde Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme in der Maschine erheblich nachdunkelt.The tobacco coming out of the barrels is used in the machines mentioned pre-moistened so that it becomes soft and can be loosened without a large amount of breakage. B. eines Kettenstranges, einer stoßartigen Bewegung vorzugsweise in vertikaler Richtung ausgesetzt wird, z. B. indem man den Mitnehmer nach Anheben plötzlich fallen läßt. Vorteilhaft schlägt der Mitnehmer beim Fall hierbei hart auf, z. B. auf ein Ausschlagstück. Durch diesen kurzen, harten Schlag fällt das klebengebliebene Kurz ab und kann auf einem unter dem Mitnehmer angeord= neten Auffangsieb gesammelt werden. Auf diese Weise wird verhindert, daß an dem Mitnehmer festklebende Tabakteilchen von neuem in die Vorfeuchtekammer gelangen. Vielmehr wird der Mitnehmer beim Rückgang einwandftei und vollständig von etwa noch anhaftenden Tabakresten befreit, so daß er sauber in die Behandlungskammer eintreten kann.According to the invention, this disadvantage is eliminated in a simple manner.
