Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Verschlufsvorrichtung für Milchkannen und ähnliche Gefäfse, welche sowohl ein dichtes Schliefsen als leichtes Oeffhen ermöglicht. Um einen dichten Verschlufs des Deckels mit dem oberen Rande des Milchgefäfses zu bewirken, ist zweckentsprechend ein Gummi- oder Kautschukring 0 um den Deckelring gelegt, welcher bei umgeschlagenem Hebel zusammengeprefst wird. Zur Erzielung eines dichten Verschlusses ist es unbedingt nothwendig, dafs das Milchgefäfs am oberen Rande, von den beiden Befestigungsstellen des Deckels ausgehend, eine Erhöhung erhält. Diese Erhöhung q, in der Zeichnung (Fig. 1) punktirt gezeichnet, bezweckt nur, den Gummiring gleichmäfsig anzupressen, weil durch das Andrücken des Deckels auf nur zwei Stellen, welche diametral gegenüber stehen, die rechtwinklig zu diesen gelegenen durch Spannen des Deckels abgehoben werden.
