Photographieren Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Erzielung
weißer Bildränder beim automatischen Photographieren auf bandförmigen Umkehrpapieren.
Zur Erzielung weißer Ränder auf bandförmigen photographischen Umkehrpapieren ist
schon vorgeschlagen worden, dieselben vor der eigentlichen Bildbelichtung bildabschnittsweise
unter Abdeckung des Mittelfeldes einer Randbelichtung zu unterwerfen. Bei der Verwirklichung
dieses Vorschlages zeigt sich jedoch, daß das Vorrücken nicht immer so gleichmäßig
erfolgt, daß der randbelichtete Papierabschnitt in der Aufnahmekamera mit Sicherheit
die richtige Stellung für die Bildaufnahme erreicht, so daß die Bilder versetzt
belichtet werden. Zum anderen ist vorgeschlagen worden, die zusätzliche Randbelichtung
im Augenblick der eigentlichen Bildbelichtung, jedoch von rückwärts unter Ausnutzung
der Transparenz des Umkehrpapieres auszuführen. Dabei werden aber das Mittelfeld
der Bildabschnitte abdeckende Masken notwendig, die aus undurchsichtigem Glas mit
durchsichtigen Randstreifen bestehen und daher durch Lichtbrechung und Reflexion

der Aufnahme in der Kamera 5 stillsteht. An die Aufnahmekamera schließen sich dann
die nicht mehr dargestellten Einrichtungen zum Abtrennen der Bildabschnitte und
zum Entwickeln an, Geräte, die nicht zur Erfindung gehören. Das Neue gemäß Abb.
1, 2 und 3 ist aber in der Lichtkammer 6 hinter der Aufnahmekamera zu sehen sowie
in der Maske 7, die die Rückseite des Umkehrpapiers gegen die Lichtkammer abdeckt.
Die Anordnung und Wirkungsweise der neuen Teile ist nun folgende: Die Maske 7 weist
am oberen Rand der Kamera einen Querschlitz a auf und an den beiden Seiten Löcher
b und c in der Breite des erwünschten Bildrandes. Die Lichtkammer 6 ist durch eine
Querwand 8 in zwei Räume eingeteilt, wobei der eine Raum mit dem Schlitz a gegen
die Rückseite des Papierbandes geöffnet ist und die elektrischen Lampen 9 besitzt,
während der andere Raum mit den beiden Öffnungen b und c gegen das Papierband schaut
und seinerseits die Lampen io als Lichtquelle aufnimmt. Die Lampen werden in den
beiden Räumen, und zwar zweckmäßigerweise durch Steuernocken i i und 12, auf eine
der Abzugswalzen 3 so eingeschaltet, daß die Lampen 9 brennen, wenn das Aufnahmepapierband
stillsteht (d. h. in dein *Augenblick, der in Abb. i zur Darstellung gebracht ist),
daß dagegen die Lampen io brennen, solange das Papierband durch die Abzugswalzen
vorwärts gefördert wird. Die beiden Seitenrandstreifen entstehen also bei fortlaufender
Belichtung an den Öffnungen b und c. Die dargelegte Nockensteuerung der elektrischen
Kontakte für die Lampenstromkreise ist nur schematisch mit den Nocken i i und 12
angedeutet, wobei letzterer in der Hubdauer und mit dem Bogenumfang der Transportdauer
der Walzen 3 und 4 entsprechen muß. Die Steuerung mit den Schleifzungen 13 und 13'
sowie den Kontaktspitzen 14 und 14' kann praktisch in irgendeiner Weise ausgeführt
