von 27o° Benutzung von vier Kameras) und die synchron derart @angetrieben werden;
Method of making time stretch motion pictures The invention
relates to a method for generating cinematographic time stretching film recordings,
especially in cases of weak recording light and (or) weakly more sensitive
Photo emulsions. The essence of the invention is that in itself known
Several cameras are used when using parallax compensation,
the number of which is a function of the selected angle ratio of the opening and dimming sector
is the IC number aperture (e.g. with an opening sector, r of go ° and a dimming sector
of 27o ° use of four cameras) and which are @driven synchronously in this way;
that one camera in turn effects image exposure when the others
Cameras aimed at the same object experience image dimming, and that
by means of known copying measures from the negatives obtained in this way
a copy film is produced in which the individual
Images of: Negatives follow one another, all one after the other in the usual way
get to the demonstration.
sehr einfach, (la mittels einer entsprechend der;
Aufnah,niekamera mit Strahlenteilungsoptik
arbeitenden Kopiermaschine die einzelnen
Phasenbilder der getrennten :Negative im
Rlivtlinitis der Aufnaliniekanierafolge hinter-
einander kupiert «erden.
quenz be-i bestimmten Aufnalimelichtverhält-
nissen bisher nicht möglich gewesen wäre.
Bei den vorbekannten Doppelkameraauf-
nahnieverfahren soll nur das Flimmern bei
der 1# ilinlcopiewiedergabe, das durch die Film-
schaltzeiten (Funkenpausen) bedingt ist, aus-
geschaltet werden. Die Bildfrequenz wird
hierbei nicht erhöht. Beim Doppelkameraver-
fahren besitzen beide Kopiefil.me die gleich
clielide völlig gleichartige Bild des andere@i

The invention makes it possible to produce slow-motion or stretching recordings at a frequency that can be achieved significantly higher than with conventional slow-motion cameras, provided that films of any length are to be unwound from a reel and exposed. As is well known, the length of the film that can be exposed is a function of the recording frequency and thus of the film transport speed. It is true that by winding the film on drums of very large diameter, which are initially driven at high speed, the frame rate can be increased considerably. However, this effort is very considerable, and it requires tightly bound seats. With the measure after the
Invention, this limitation is not given.
Depending on the number of
Accessing cameras can each
image achievable with a slow motion camera
frequency for any length of unrolling film
be multiplied accordingly.
