Beim Kalben der Kühe kommt es häufig vor, dafs die mit dem Auswerfen der Nachgeburt aus der Scheide des Mutterthieres austretenden inneren Organe auch nach dem Zurückbringen, unterstützt durch das Pressen und Drücken des Thieres j wieder vor die Scheidenöffnung treten. Dieselbe besteht aus einer in Form eines länglichen Ringes zweckmäfsig aus Rundeisen hergestellten Vorlage ν und einem Gurt g, mit welchem genannte Vorlage oben und unten durch Riemen r r bezw. r¹ r¹ verbunden ist. Am oberen Ende verzweigt sich die vor die Scheidenöffnung (wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich) zu legende Vorlage in zwei Schenkel ss, die zwischen sich eine Vertiefung ο lassen, die den Schwanz des Thieres umfafst; im mittleren Theil ist die Vorlage mit einem Netzwerk η versehen, welches am besten durch Einziehen einer Schnur durch die Löcher i hergestellt wird. Das Netzwerk läfst den Urin vollständig durch und unter der Einbiegung 0 ist über dem Netz ausreichend Platz für den Durchgang des Kothes. Der Gurt g wird dem Thier, wie es ebenfalls aus Fig. 2 zu erkennen ist, gleich hinter den Vorderbeinen um den Leib gelegt und fest angezogen; vom oberen Theil der Vorlage bezw. den Schenkeln s s gehen die Riemen r r nach den in entsprechender Gurt angebrachten Schnallen an der Vorlage befestigten zwischen den HinterHöhe Preventing the internal organs from coming out is the purpose of the device forming the subject of the invention.
