Description

The invention is based on a method for generating stereoscopic natural-colored projection images with polarized light.

To get space color pictures., It is. known, additive partial colors at the same time as stereoscopic partial images and by means of polarized To project light. In order to now be able to alternate the presentation of black and white, colored or additively colored images to be projected with spatial color images in one, and enabling the same demonstration apparatus makes the invention of this known way in such a way use that of a film with groups of at least three sub-color images each, of which at least two each with the parallax required for the spatial representation are recorded, is assumed and that with intermittent promotion of the film by only one frame height or with steady Film advance Always simultaneously with at least one of the different polarized means Light to be projected, the spatial representation containing partial color images Another partial image of another partial color is projected.

-2 zeigt. Die Polarisationsfilter müssen also wandern. The following example illustrates the invention. As the example shown shows, in Fig. I first the partial images a1, a2, a3 of the image phase a are imaged with the stationary lenses 01, 02, 03. In the example given here, images a1, a :, of the partial images a1, a2, a3 are recorded with the parallax required for spatial representation. Of these three partial images, the images a1, a2 are accordingly reproduced with differently polarized light. The third partial image a3 can be projected with normal light. If the picture book is moved one picture height further, the three partial pictures are one field lower, as shown in Fig. -2. The partial images a1, a., B3 are now projected. The light for the partial images a1, a2 is polarized in the same way as in Fig. I. So the polarization filters have to move. In the example shown, the additive projection takes place from two partial images of image phase a and one partial image of image phase b. The spatial image effect arises in Fig. I as in Fig. 2 from the partial images a1, a2. If the film tape is advanced by a further image height, the partial images bz, b3, a1 are ready for projection as shown in Fig. 3. The partial images b2, a1 are now reproduced polarized and used for spatial projection. The colored fringes which occur here and which would arise from the different phase images a1, b2 are eliminated by the polarization. After a further step-up, the partial images b1, b2, b3 are available for projection, the partial images bi, b2 being reproduced in polarized fashion. When changing the partial images, it is advisable to ensure that the same partial image color always contains the same polarization direction. The illustrated change of the partial images is repeated periodically.
