keramischen Werkstoffen keine Brandgefahr vorhanden.Cable termination for radio frequency cables The invention relates
on the formation of the ends of high-frequency cables, their stranded inner conductor
is surrounded by an insulating compound made of high polymer hydrocarbon, in which
A tube made of ceramic material is used, in order to be as uniform as possible
to achieve distributed electrical stress and the risk of breakdown or flashover
.to avoid in the end. Furthermore, when a sliding rollover path occurs, is
ceramic materials, there is no risk of fire.
eintrat.According to the invention, the insulation of the stranded inner conductor is important
at the end of the high-frequency cable a tube made of ceramic material without any
Pressed air inclusion, which is provided with a bead and that on the with the
Bead-provided side receives the outer conductor. To allow the tube to be pulled up easily
to enable
the insulation is rubbed off with gasoline. In order to
Now a good transition for the outside conductor is created, a tape that is made of
the same mass as the insulation is made, against the tube made of ceramic
Material wound in such a way that there is a slope from the pipe to isolate the cable
forms. By firmly winding the tape onto the insulation of the inner conductor
achieves that the tape and the insulation mass without any air inclusion
connect intimately. The outer conductor is attached to the ceramic tube via this tape
Ground and fastened with the help of a clamp. Here, every air inclusion
avoided between outer conductor and insulation ground. Due to the bulging on the
ceramic tube is achieved that the flashover voltage from outer conductor to inner conductor
many times (about five to six times) compared to a beadless tube
will. At the end, the inner conductor is divided into its strands and covered with cable lugs
Mistake. The individual cable lugs are attached to a clamp in the form of a rosette.
This rosette-shaped arrangement is provided once for better heat dissipation
to ensure. In addition, the distribution of the individual stranded strands
the harmful influence of skin effects on several spatially separated cable lugs
(Skin effect) of the solder joint significantly reduced compared to the summary in
a single solder joint. Only through this measure was the thermal stress
not higher at the connection points than inside the cable. Experiments ü showed
that when soldering the entire inner conductor in a single cable lug already at
the operating current of the cable burns the inner conductor at the soldering point
entered.
