Die Einarbeitung der Sulfonate in Feinseifen, Schmierseifen und Weichseifen bot keine besonderen Schwierigkeiten. Es schien aber zunächst unmöglich, Grobwaschpulver nach dem Kaltsprühverfahren herzustellen. Schon bei Zusätzen von 256% Päraffinsulfonat, bezogen auf den Fettsäuregehalt der Seifen, wurden stark klebende Pulver erhalten, die auf den Transportschnecken zu Verklebungen führten und sich auch auf den automatischen Paketiermaschinen nicht verpacken ließen. Diese ungünstigen Eigenschaften nahmen mit steigendem Anteil an Sulfonat zu.
