Description

Illumination device for diascopic projector The invention relates to a lighting device for diascopic projector with a lamp, one inhomogeneous luminous surface as a light source and one behind it Has concave mirror. These facilities are particularly important when using of incandescent lamps, the luminous surface is mapped into the lens, thus the shape of the luminous body not in the image window and therefore not visible on the screen. To this However, the requirement for maximum brightness in the image window is not yet wise Fulfills. 'In order to remedy this deficiency, a lighting device of the aforementioned type of concave mirror with a finely wavy, irregularly grained, d. H. for example by sanding with fine emery and then polishing with a Felt buff provided the mirror surface generated and arranged in relation to the light source in such a way that that their luminous surface is mapped into the film plane. Through this training the surface of the mirror is evenly illuminated. of the image window achieved, as some of the rays have a slight lateral deflection due to the grain and thereby a blurred image of the light source in the Film layer is generated.

Although it is known to use light sources with a homogeneous luminous surface, e.g. B. the coal crater of an arc lamp, with the help of a concave mirror in the picture window image in order to achieve the greatest possible image brightness. To this advantage Lens optics can also be used for light sources with inhomogeneous light surfaces trained in various ways. For example, you have toric lenses arranged or lenses with pressed surfaces that either show fire polish or smoothed by cloth polishing after pressing. One also has the pressed lenses are designed as Fresnel lenses. If you transfer this measure to the concave mirror, the quality of the design according to the invention is not the same achieved.
