in konstanter Entfernung vom Aufnahmeort befinden, in derselben Ebene scharf abzubilden.
Abb. i zeigt schematisch diese bekannte
optische Anordnung.
Method and device for photographing test marks There is
often the need to have objects and test objects that are arbitrarily distant
are at a constant distance from the recording location, in the same plane sharply.
For example, this task exists for both cinematographic recording
of feature films, with a blackboard being recorded before each individual scene is recorded
is on which, all, those details can be found that are necessary for the later composition
of the entire film from the individual scene sections are necessary and those in
the sequence is designated as a number plate. In practice this is used
small projection devices that are linked to the cinema camera in such a way that they
optionally swiveled into the field of view of the camera or swiveled out of the field of view
can be. When the device is swiveled in, the number plate is shown
on the movie through the interaction of the projection lens of the ballast
and the recording lens from Kärnera. Fig. I shows schematically this known
optical arrangement. In it i i means the taking lens, 12 the film plane,
13 the projection lens and 14 the number table to be imaged. How to get right away
recognizes, a sharp image of the number plate 14 in the film plane can only
then establish when the optical systems i i and 13 neither their distance from each other
still change from the brand or the film 12. While the former is through articulation
of the lens 13 can be achieved at the lens i1, the second condition cannot be met,
because the distance of the lens i i from the film plane i ä is always the distance of the

According to the invention, this Mangul is avoided and the sharp image

brought about the following means.
Da

Fig.2 shows schematically the arrangement according to the invention, which differs from
The only difference between the common ones shown in Fig. i is that between
your taking lens i i and the projection lens 13 a further lens 15 like this
is appropriate; that their focal point coincides with that of the taking lens and
the total focal length of the combination consisting of i i and 15 is infinite, d. H.
their total breclic force becomes zero. 16 means the common focus, which is in
Example case of using a diverging lens to the right of this, when in use
a converging lens, however, lies between this and the taking lens i i. There
the total refractive power of i i and 15 is zero. is for the creation of the
Image of the number plate 1.4 on your film 12 only the projection lens
13 veralitwortlich, its distance from both the number plate 14 and from the film

a sharp image of four Niminiern panels is produced on your film 12.
So that the foci of i 1 and 15 always coincide; Appropriate mechanical precautions must be taken to ensure this success at all times. A wide variety of devices are conceivable for this, one of which is described, for example, with reference to Figure 3. Thereafter, the mount ring 17 of the compensation lens 15 is articulated to the mount ring 18 of the taking lens ii that "the compensation lens can be proposed when the projection lens is switched on. In the example, this is done by rotating the mount ring 17 around the shaft ig parallel to the optical axis of the lens, However, there are any other known possibilities available to (read upstream of the compensation lens before (read the taking lens with always remain the same (ie @ n al: stand of the two from each other.
