Flow regulator for liquids and gases with any direction of flow
The invention relates to a flow regulator for liquids and gases, the pulse
for the regulation from the pressure difference upstream and downstream of a throttle point in the course
one line takes. Pressures in front of and behind a throttle act on both of them
Sides of a membrane. The membrane is loaded on both sides by a spring,
whose strokes are limited so that none of the springs over the central position of the diaphragm
can push out. Eiti control valve is connected to the membrane in such a way that in the
Central position of the diaphragm while the greatest flow rate goes through the control valve
if there is a deviation from the central position on both sides, a throttling effect occurs.
In gleicher Richtung
durch das Regelgerät fließen.ßekaiint are volume regulators which, as shown in the diagram in Fig.r,

Increase throttle point z. The pressure p1 upstream of the throttle point r is passed through a line
24 in the space 5 above the membrane 2, while the pressure p. = Behind the throttle point
reaches the space 6 below the membrane 2 via line 25. In the same direction
the membrane is loaded by the spring 3. 'With the diaphragm is the valve disc
4th des `gentiles 26 connected by spindle 7. The liquid to be controlled or
the gas enter at S, flow through the throttle point i, the valve 26 and
are fed to the point of consumption at 9. As long as the same: amount by the
Throttle point goes, the pressure difference remains constant due to p =. The membrane and
so that the valve disc q. stay at rest. As soon as the pressure difference pt-p,
changes, for example by changing the pressure p1 at the inlet or the pressure
p, ain exit, the equilibrium is disturbed. Is for example

Volume controllers of this type can only work in one direction. if
for example the entry at 9 and the exit at 8 er =. follows, it would be at

be influenced in a sense that does not lead to the original pressure difference
p = -pl and thus the same flow rate - is restored. For example, increases
p = more than p1, and therefore a larger amount goes through the controller, so becomes
the valve: 26 not throttled, but fully open.
belastet.

Appropriately, the valve 26 is not as in ebb. shown, because the valve would not be relieved of pressure in this form and the pressure acting on the surface of the valve disk 4 would The 'Jentil 26' is expediently given a shape such that it is completely relieved of the pressures that prevail upstream and downstream of this valve. A special version of the valve 26 -tends Fig.3. Instead of the valve disk, there is a slide 17, which is designed as a hollow cylinder and is provided with slots 18 for the passage of the pressure medium. The slide runs in a slide bushing i9 of the housing, which is provided with an appropriately annular recess -2o, which in turn is connected to the outlet or inlet opening c9. The slide is connected to the membrane 2 by the spindle 7. In the middle position of the membrane, the slide 17 is in the position shown in FIG. 3, ie the recesses in the sense of the slide coincide with the recess 20 of the slide so that the largest cross section is free for the flow. With every position of the membrane 2 deviating from the middle position, the cross section is throttled depending on the strength of the deviation. The slide itself is completely relieved, since the pressure p. = Can also pass through the connecting openings 21 and the cavity in the slide 22 into the space 23 below the slide, while the slide is not influenced by the pressure p3 in the lbfltlßleitttn- 9 will.
