Device on airbrakes of aircraft The invention relates
on a device on air brakes with parallel to the flap axes of rotation
running bars of the flaps, which are kinematic in pairs or in groups
are so coupled together; -that! when actuating part of the flaps- in the flow sensor,
the rest of the flaps: is moved against the current. 'The invention' exists
in it, d-ate the bars in cross-section size and cross-sectional shape at the one
Part of the brake flaps are different than the two associated flaps, in such a way that
a difference that remains largely constant over the entire swivel travel
the 'two oppositely directed flap adjustment moments is achieved .. _
The advantage of the invention is essentially that the extension of the brake flaps
is possible quickly and with the least amount of energy. This is the smaller
the smaller the adjustment torques. You therefore have the airbrakes pair or
arranged in groups and their drive linkage interconnected so that
the flap adjustment moments should compensate each other. A complete balance of moments
but has not been achieved by this, rather a residual moment is left,
which changes in size over the entire flap pivoting paths.
This residual torque can, for example, with flaps not built according to the invention
with certain valve positions: grow so far that to overcome this large
At the moment an excessively powerful motor to adjust the flaps in the aircraft
must be built in, or else must the better moments @ compensation by complicated
kinematic facilities in the connecting rod @ ge of the flaps can be achieved.
These kinematic devices can, however, with
the flaps of one
each individual aircraft .require extensive and tedious adjustment work.
Klappergruppe.Wind channels, oil tests have shown; that through the rod shapes for the
grid-shaped braking surfaces, the remaining residual torque can be changed «-earth,
that it covers the entire pivoting path of the flaps. remains practically the same, provided that
Attention is paid to the fact that the rod forines both in terms of their cross-sectional shape
a brake flap group are suitably different from the assigned one
Rattle group.
Moment bleibt. If you train the air brakes in this form, you can at the same time
the possibility that the remaining residual torque is eliminated as a difference
the opposing adjustment moments of the two rattle groups on any one
StellederSchw: enkw egg changes according to its sign. Rather, it can be achieved
that there is a closing of the flaps over the entire adjustment range
Moment remains.
In the drawing is an embodiment of a device according to
of the invention shown. Above and below your aircraft wing i are the grid-shaped ones
Brake flaps 2 and 3 around the axes q. and 5 rotatably mounted. The rattle arms sui
provided with bars running parallel to the rattle axes of rotation. With 5a
the flap drive is indicated in the form of a drive rod.
Klappe 2 Querbohrungen 9a, i 5a, i, bzw. 7b, 86 aufweisen, die Loch- oder
Schlitzreihen in diesen Stäben bedeuten.
According to the invention, the rods 6, 7, 8 to the axes of rotation, the flap 2, which closes with the flow, has the cross-section of a rectangle with sharp isants; while the corresponding rods 9, io, ii and 12 of the associated flap 3, which closes against the flow, are larger in number and have a hat-like cross-section with rounded edges. own. In addition, in the former case the outer rod 13 furthest from the axis of rotation has an elongated rectangle as a cross-sectional shape, while in the associated flap 3 this outer rod has two rods 1, 15 corresponding to a rectangular cross-section with a smaller area size. In particular, it is characteristic of the rod shapes that the rod cross-sections are different not only in the one compared to the other flap, but also within one and the same flap. For example, while a certain rod shape predominates in a valve, the magnitude of the moment of the individual valves is essentially determined, the course of the moment over the rattle deflection can be influenced in a favorable sense by means of a suitable cross-sectional shape or perforation of the individual rods. For this reason, the individual rods also deviate from one another in terms of their cross-sectional shape on one and the other flap, as the outer rods of the flap 3, which opens with the flow, and the inner rods of the associated flap 2 have transverse bores 9a, i, 5a, i, or 7b, 86 have, which mean rows of holes or slots in these rods. With this rod-shaped profile, vacuum peaks generating torque peaks are avoided, so that the adjustment torques of the brakes continue to be reduced in this way.
