Description
Cathode ray tube The subject of the present invention is a cathode ray tube for sound film purposes, namely: in particular those for the recording of Sound films is suitable. With the help of cathode ray tubes when making sound recordings . is a high luminance of the on the screen of the tube due to electron impact generated light spot required. This high loyalties can only be seen by means achieve very high anode voltages. But if such high anode voltages are used, so the luminous substance on the screen becomes almost out of focus: I or at least all of it shortly destroyed by the heat generated by the electron impact. The object of the present invention is now to develop a cathode ray tube to create .the advantage of high luminance with .the long service life connects. It has already been proposed to provide an apparatus for imaging a leached mechanical gap with optical sound or the like. Records using of a concave mirror with an illuminated gap in the longitudinal direction collinear with a Make sure that the radius of the spherical mirror or the axis of rotation of the ellipsoidal mirror is correct, where a Bra: unse @ h e tube can optionally be used as the light source.
It. is also already known, in a Braun tube '. the luminous material to be applied to a heat-radiating metal base, that is to say designed as a cooling surface and to arrange this metal base at an angle to the cathode ray. From the one under the Part of the light emitted by electron impact hits the next to the tube Passing the film strip and calls out a corresponding to the intensity of the cathode ray Black too: ng. Such an arrangement has the disadvantage that not the light emitted by the phosphor can be used without further ado and the oblique projection results in an elongated distortion of the light spot; to the Avoiding the loss of light would be very complicated optical Arrangements with corresponding complication of the tube production necessary if you z. B. wanted to arrange a Hohlspie.gelreflektor behind the tube, also special Compensating devices for rectifying the light spot.
It is also known to bring about a cooling of the luminous phosphor, that at the bottom of a Braun tube there is an additional antechamber made of glass is attached through which a liquid permitting the phosphorescent light flows steadily.
The present invention aims at the whole of the light spot to be able to use emitted light for film blackening at the same time with simple Means, i.e. avoiding the above-mentioned complications of the arrangement, to achieve sufficient cooling for the luminous phosphor.
According to the invention "-earth now a cathode ray tube for Tonfilinzwecke combined the following features, which together give the invention.
The screen support is used in a manner known per se as a cooling surface educated. It is located inside the tube and has a large opening for the passage of light. In this limited opening the front screen becomes a luminescent screen light emitted to the inside of the tube after reflection on one of your light emitters opposite, known per se Hclilspieg, el, which is also in the tube attached to one focal point. The light then comes in afterwards out of the tube. The use of the known, designed as a cooling surface Fluorescent underlay enables a high surface load. This is currently at Cathode ray tubes for clay filament purposes,%; o permanent exposure to the same Point hits. extraordinarily dangerous, and therefore the Kitli-lun.g; liat very much beneficial effects. The use of a known mirror allows it, all the light emanating from the luminous substance, is also really technical exploit, it is also advantageous that this concave mirror is within the tube is located, because in this way there are light losses and endangerment of the Lowered the mirror.
In the case of the tube according to the invention, it is possible to use very high anode voltages and then to work with very kolier Leuclitdiclite without causing any damage the luminous substance would be commanded. A metal plate is advantageous as the cooling surface used on c142 directly or with the interposition of a thin insulating - Medium, for example made of quartz or mica, which does not dissipate heat hindered, the luminous substance is applied. This metal plate can still be provided with special cooling fins to increase the heat dissipation.
The invention is intended in the following with reference to the figure, for example explained. In the figure, it meets the cathode, which is not shown here .Exiting cathode ray I on the designed as a cooling surface, with a luminous substance 3 provided shields 2. The rays emanating from the shield -2 are by means of the Concave mirror d. collected and hit through the screen opening 5 via a lens combination 6 on the fil1n; .
It is clear that the idea of the invention depends on the form of the The electron beam used and also on the special type of the enveloping surfaces is. It is also a matter of course that the lens combination drawn here, which is designed as a cylinder lens combination in the illustration, not a standard but in each case on your particular purpose for which the electron beam tube is used becomes dependent.
