sei Ammonmolybdat genannt. Als Schwermetalle kommen vorzugsweise Kupfersalze in
Frage, z. B. das Kupferchlorid.Process for the preparation of dyes of the phthalocyanine series Es
found that ß received new and valuable dyes of the phthalocyanine series
if one uses 5-sulfotrimellitic acid in a manner known per se with urea
and heavy metal salts. Instead of 5-sulfotrimellitic acid, in an
known way, also -their functional ones obtainable by the action of ammonia
Derivatives, d. H. Amides, imides and the like can be used. It is advisable; in present
the catalysts known per se for such reactions to work; as an an example
Let ammonium molybdate be mentioned. Copper salts are preferably used as heavy metals
Question, e.g. B. the copper chloride.
Salze wertvolle Lackfarbstoffe darstellen. Vorzugsweise kommen hierfür die Erdalkalimetallsalze,
The available dyes can be used for dyeing the most diverse
Materials, especially cellulosic materials such as paper, are used.
As with all water-soluble phthalocyanine dyes, there are others, especially
valuable application form of these products in that they are in the form of their water-insoluble
Salts are valuable lacquer dyes. The alkaline earth metal salts are preferably used for this purpose,
z. B. barium or calcium salts in question. Despite the large, en accumulation of water soluble
Making groups, these lacquer dyes are characterized by valuable properties
the end.
Vergleicht man
The particular value of the new process is that the available
Dyes show a clarity as they do within the nuances available here
has not yet been observed. For example, shows copper phthalocyanine from 5-sulfotrimellitic acid
as a paint dye, a shade in the style of Bremen blue, as it is in this lightfastness
and clarity so far not available at all
was. If you compare
this dye with your previously known dye from 4-sulfophthalic acid, so is
to determine a shift to green that is desirable for the technology.
Beispiel I
Hierauf trägt man 17 Teile kristallisiertes
Since 5-sulfotrimellitic acid is an easily accessible starting material, the nine process is a valuable addition to the techxtik in view of the effects achieved thereby. EXAMPLE I 146.4 parts of urea are melted and 146.4 parts of the dipical salt of 5-sulfotrimellitic acid are gradually added at from 160 to 165 'with stirring. 17 parts of crystallized copper chloride and then 2 parts of ammonium molybdate are then introduced. The melt is kept at 16 ° to 165 ° for about 4 hours, with a total of about 73.2 parts of urea being added from time to time. After cooling to about 100 °, the melt is taken up with water and the dye formed is separated off by adding hydrochloric acid. The dye can be used directly for dyeing purposes.
in i 5o Teilen heißem, Wasser gelöst.
Example 2 45 parts of the dye obtainable according to Example i are dissolved in 150 parts of hot water. Then 50 parts of an alumina hydrate slurry i: io are added, which was prepared from 30 parts of aluminum sulfate and 15 parts of soda with subsequent washing out of the precipitate and adjusting the same to the ratio i: io with water. Finally, 1.5 parts of barium chloride are added in the form of an octo solution. The precipitate is pressed off. It can then be painted directly with a glue solution i: io as wallpaper paint or the like or, after drying, rubbed with linseed oil varnish in a ratio of i: 1.5 and then used for graphic printing.
