oxydiert.Process for the production of alkali arsenates Alkaline earth salts of the arsenic
and arsenic acid are obtained in a number of technical reactions. Be there
here only the oxidation processes with the help of arsenic acid are mentioned, in which arsenic
Acid is obtained, which is precipitated with lime as calcium arsenite. This calcium arsenite
becomes calcium arsenate in a known manner either by wet or dry means
oxidized.
an Alkaliarsenaten.
The present invention relates to a method by which alkaline earth arsenates
be converted into the much more valuable water-soluble alkali arsenates
can. The reaction, which is carried out with the help of alkalis or alkali carbonates
is known per se. It is carried out on a wet or dry route and
gives usable yields only with very large excesses of alkali compound
on alkali arsenates. According to the invention, the reaction is now carried out in the presence of carbonic acid
causes. Even with a low partial pressure of carbonic acid, it is possible to achieve a substantial yield
to increase, so that even with equivalent amounts of alkali about goo; o of the used
Arsenic can be obtained as alkali arsenate. The reaction is carried out with the addition of water
and carried out at an elevated temperature. The alkaline earth carbonate also formed in this process
falls out as an easily filterable precipitate.
In
Beispiel i 30o Ge«-ichtsteile Calciumarsenat
Arsens als Natriumarsenat in der Lösung, die vom Calciumcarbonat abfiltriert wird.'.Ulan can, for example, bring about the reaction in an open rotary kiln into which carbonic acid is introduced. If higher carbonic acid pressures are used, a stirred autoclave is used. B. injects carbon dioxide. In this case, the required carbonic acid pressure can also be generated by using the alkali required for the reaction in the form of bicarbonate, which dissociates when the reaction mixture is heated to achieve the desired carbonic acid pressure. EXAMPLE 30% by weight of calcium arsenate with a content of 53% As20i are treated with the addition of 217 parts by weight of soda and 70% of water in a stirred autoclave with carbonic acid under a pressure of 3 to 5 atmospheres at 80 to 85 °. After about 4 hours, 9% of the arsenic used is in the form of sodium arsenate in the solution, which is filtered off from the calcium carbonate.
übergeführt.EXAMPLE 2 100 parts by weight of calcium arsenate with a content of 53% As205 are treated with carbonic acid in a rotary kiln at 70 to 8 ° after the addition of 75 parts by weight of soda and 250 parts of water. After 4 hours, 870/0 of the calcium arsenate used are converted into water-soluble sodium arsenates.

unter Zusatz von 3509
Natriumbicarbonat und 750 ccm Wasser 4 Stunden
bei 8o' in einem Druckgefäß von 31 Inhalt gerührt. Es entwickelt sich dabei ein
Kohlensäuredruck von 6 bis 8 Atm. Der Calciumcarbonatschlamm wird abfiltriert und
ausgewaschen.
vorhanden.Example 3 300. Calcium arsenate with a content of 53% As205 are stirred with the addition of 3509 sodium bicarbonate and 750 cc of water for 4 hours at 80 'in a pressure vessel with a capacity of 31. A carbonic acid pressure of 6 to 8 atm develops. The calcium carbonate sludge is filtered off and washed out. The solution contains 89% of the arsenate used as sodium arsenate. Example 4 50o parts by weight of calcium arsenate with a content of 53% As205 are vigorously stirred in an open stirring vessel at 50 to 70 ° with the addition of 60 parts by weight of sodium bicarbonate and 2,000 parts of water. After 2 hours, it is filtered and washed out. In the alkaline solution, 87.5% of the arsenate is present as sodium arsenate.
