Process for finishing waterproof textile webs Addition to patent 714 693
Although no or only a subordinate role, this phenomenon is unattractive in the case of dark-colored, especially dark-blue or black-colored textiles.
Man
wasserabstoßend imprägniert, so läßt man diesen Vorgang alsdann folgen.According to the invention, this disadvantage is eliminated by
that the powder is used in a colored state, d. H. dal. ') you give it a coloring
confers, which appropriately corresponds to the coloring of the textile material used. Man
For this purpose, the powder can also be used in a state colored with pigment dyes.
However, in order to: avoid contamination of the work equipment with the paint dust,
it is practically more advantageous to use the: uncolored powder applied to the film
to be colored afterwards. This can be done before or at the same time as the water repellent
Impregnation, done. This subsequent coloring of the powder is also advantageous
on a coater, squeegee or lens sizer using
a solution or dispersion containing the dye in question. Will not be simultaneous
Impregnated in a water-repellent manner, this process is then allowed to follow.
Puder sichtbar. In this way you get waterproof textile sheets that are one-sided
wear a powdered film of polymerisation resins and still both sides
appear completely or almost completely of the same color. In contrast to them, they give way
the main patent available textile webs even with strong rubbing, scratching or
The powder does not bend, nor are unsightly, white areas of exposed areas
Powder visible.
Bordeaux B _X.
(Schultz-Lehmann , »Farbstofftabellen (#, 7. Aufl., I. Bd.,
193 r, S. 232, Nr. 576), Chlorantinlichtblau RL (ebenda, S.249, Nr. 6r; ) oder Plutoschwarz
F extra (ebenda, S.255, Nr.628).
Hierzu verwendet man
When using webs made of cellulose hydrate fibers, it can be useful to make them crease-proof before applying a film by impregnating them with urea or thiourea form.aldehyde-cucistine resins. The effect achieved in this way remains with the textile material despite the approximately equal weight of the coating by the fihn. Example A cellulose wool tissue is treated several times with a 40 percent dispersion of ethyl or iutyl polymethacrylate on a coating machine. After each spread, drying is carried out in the usual way at about 50 to 60 ° C. with good air movement. Instead of the dispersion, it is also possible to use a solution of the polyacrylic acid resins mentioned in suitable organic solvents. The resulting film has strong adhesive properties that can be achieved by powdering, e.g. B. with rice or talcum powder, can be eliminated. The textile material treated in this way is then placed on a squeegee or coating machine and coated over the powder layer with a one percent dye solution or, in the case of deeper shades of the goods, a higher percentage dye solution. Bordeaux B_X , for example, are suitable for this purpose. (Schultz-Lehmann, »Dye tables (#, 7th ed., I. Vol., 193 r, p. 232, no. 576), chlorantine light blue RL (ibid, p.249, no. 6r;) or Pluto black F extra (ibid, p.255, Nr.628). one such color the powder according to the color of the impregnated fabric. the attachment of the powder on the film surface is then effected by treatment with water-repellent agents. for this purpose, one uses from about 25 to 3009 of a commercial 3% dispersion which, in addition to paraffin, glue and water-soluble aluminum salt, advantageously also contains some aluminum soap.
Man setzt dann
As already mentioned, it is also possible to color the powder at the same time as the water-repellent impregnation. The dye in question is then added to the impregnating dispersion mentioned and the powdered film surface is treated with this liquid.
