Dieses Horn steht also über das Ringsegment b hinaus. In Abb. 2 ist ähnlich wie bei Abb. i eine Verlängerung der Zuleitungen e durch Hornansätze cl dargestellt. Auch wenn die Ringleitungen, wie in Abb.3 dargestellt, an beiden Enden mit Hornansätzen e. versehen sind, wird zweckmäßigerweise eine Verlängerung der Zuleitung e durch Hornansätze cl eine wirksame Fernhaltung des Lichtbogens bewirken, weil dabei der Stromweg über die Ringsegmente zu den Hornansätzen erspart wird. Der erfindungsgemäße Lichtbogenschutz nach der in Abb. i bis 3 dargestellten Weise ist zweckmäßig nicht nur am unteren, sondern auch am oberen Ende des Isolators so anzuordnen, daß die gleichartigen Hörner des unteren und oberen Lichtbogenschutzes jeweils in einer Meridianebene durch den Isolator liegen, um nach Möglichkeit zu vermeiden, daß sich der abzublasende Lichtbogen um den Isolator windet.
