Diesem Metallbelag steht ein Widerstandsstab gegenüber, dessen untere geerdete Fassung durch entsprechende Seitenwände mit der Isolationskappe zu einem Gehäuse vereinigt ist, wobei von letzterem der Anschluß zur Erde geht. Es läßt sich dann bei entsprechender Einstellung des Kopfes des Widerstandsstabes, der, falls er aus Kohle oder anderen Stoffen besteht, in geeigneter Weise metallisiert ist, eine der Spannung entsprechende Widerstandsausführung herstellen.
