Abstandhalter bzw. Unterlage für die Belagplatten von FlachdachterrassenSpacer or underlay for the paving slabs of flat roof terraces
: The innovation relates to a spacer that serves as a base j for the paving slabs of flat roof terraces. :
In the manufacture of flat roof terraces, which normally j a certain inclination to the gutter have out the pad boards are laid generally hollow, that is, between the surface of the roof and the plates, there remains a gap \ of about 3-5 cm, around the through the joints the water passing through the panels to run off undisturbed and to be able to remove the panels more easily if a roof repair makes this necessary. For this purpose, spacers in the form of solid rings made of rubber or plastic are often used, which are placed under the panels at the intersection of the butt joints. Although this measure fulfills the aforementioned ; Purpose, however, the rings have the disadvantage that they are uneven ! units of the roof are transferred to the paving slabs and thereby impair a uniform slope of the terrace, which is especially the case when the rings come to rest on the overlapping points of the roofing felt sheets.

The object of the innovation is to create a spacer of the type mentioned at the outset, through the use of which the disadvantages of the known washers can be avoided and which can be manufactured simply and inexpensively .
According to the innovation, this task is carried out by a spacer solved, the bowl-like or bowl-shaped, deformable Container is formed with a substantially flat bottom and made of a resilient, non-resilient material consists. A container that has a conical edge about 2-6 cm high and has proven to be particularly useful is made of e.g. thermoplastic plastic. The advantages of the spacer result from the following Description of its use.
The use of the novel spacing takes place in such a way that the cup-like or bowl-shaped container is filled with mortar and placed at a predetermined point at which the butt joints of two, three or four panels are to intersect. After the plates have been placed, their slope is leveled out with known means (e.g. by knocking), the edge of the container being more or less deformed, but without springing back. The spacer thus enables any unevenness in the roof surface to be compensated for and the formation of a completely evenly inclined paving slab. A possible crossing of the mortar filling is not of

Β. Eisenblech, Weißblech od. dgl. in Frage. The novel spacer 4 is cup-shaped or bowl-shaped Shape with a wall that widens conically towards the free edge. The bottom 41 of the cup-shaped or bowl-shaped The container can, as shown in FIG. 1, be flat or, as can be seen from FIG. 2, completely or partially be formed curved inward. According to an essential feature of the innovation, the container or the spacer should preferably made of an unstable, but not resilient material. A wide variety of people come for this Types of material, e.g. B. Plastic made from a wide variety of components, Paper, cardboard or metallic materials, ζ. Β. DThe use of the spacer is very easy. In the case of a flat roof terrace to be covered with stoneware or the like cup-shaped spacers are each filled with fast-setting mortar 6 under the intersections of at least two plates 5 4 set of the type described. The amount of mortar must of course be measured so that the undersides the plates 5 also come into contact with the mortar, d. H. the spacers 4 must be filled in heaps. As soon as a certain number, e.g. B. a row or double row of plates 5 is placed on the spacer, can with a straight edge Od. Like. Be checked whether the plates are in one plane and any irregularities can be leveled by tapping will. In this case, superfluous mortar initially swells into the butt joints of the panels and over the edge of the respective spacer 4. In the case of gross irregularities, the leveling work carried out by tapping leads to a Deformation of the correspondingly stressed spacer wall. In Fig. 2 is a deformation due to bulging of the wall for example shown. From Fig. 2, however, there is still an irregularity in the shape of the roof skin 7 representing the floor a roof skin overlap 71 can be seen and it can be seen from the drawing that this irregularity by a corresponding inwardly curved formation of the spacer base 41 is equalized. The exercise can of course also be used as a the bottom 41 spanning groove 42 may be formed. D.

Furthermore, its edge can also be straight be, but a conical edge has the advantage that the cup-like containers can be put into each other during shipping and packaged in a space-saving manner. Furthermore, it is also within the framework the innovation of using rigid, i.e. non-deformable, containers of the spatial shape described above as spacers, however, the leveling of the plates is only achieved by the mortar insert exceeding the edge of the spacer can be done.
