Description

Connection of electrical conductors with one of the conductor ends receiving sleeve The invention relates to a connection with electrical conductors a sleeve which receives the conductor end or ends and in which these ends are held will.

There are cable lugs with fastening sleeves for the conductor ends known, in which the conductor is fastened in the sleeve by clamping wedges, which are in slots of the sleeve flap are introduced. However, this type of attachment is insufficient Contact surfaces and requires that the sleeve diameter is adapted to each cable thickness must become. This in turn enables the cable end to be inserted into the ring-shaped Sleeve made difficult and the attachment of the cable lug quite time consuming, especially then, if during the assembly 'the stranded conductor is more or less cut off is deformed. It has also been proposed to tie off insulated conductors or Use their isolation clamping rings, which are fixed by deforming the rings will. However, these other purpose rings are not considered cable lugs or: suitable for connecting electrical conductors. -The invention now relates to a Formation of the connecting sleeve receiving the conductor ends, their essentials The feature is that the cross-sectional shape of the sleeve is like a hood the circular shape has protruding bulge through one or more perpendicular running to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve, over the bulge .hinaus to about incisions extending towards the center of the circular cross-sectional part of the sleeve is divided into sections, so that each section is the bulge for pressed together and thereby the sleeve are pressed onto the conductor ends can.

This training achieved that the arcuate bulges the aid with a suitable tool, e.g. B. a pair of pliers, slightly tight around the cable together: can be compressed, whereby the cable is in its position in the sleeve is fixed immovably.

In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments shown. Eg Fig. T shows a cable lug with an inserted cable, Fig. A a? -connector and Fig. 3 the cable lug in side view. The preferably consists of a cable lug made from metal that conducts electricity well from the eye a for receiving the screw connection and a sleeve b for receiving the Cable core c. According to the invention, this sleeve b has a round or almost round one Cross section of a bulge d. This @ is united with. or several incisions e, which protrude to about the middle of the curve of the sleeve. To the cable core c in the sleeve b, the individual sections of the bulge d compressed so that the inner width of the sleeve b is reduced and this presses tightly against the cable core c. Since it is possible to adjust the width of the sleeve b in To change fairly large limits, you can also use cables of smaller diameter set in the sleeve. As through the incisions e the bulge into individual sections is subdivided, these can be compressed, each for itself; this makes it easier the compression, by using less force, so that a very tight clamping the cable core and thus a high contact value is achieved, since the cable core is ring-shaped is tightly enclosed. The subdivision into individual sections also results in long ones Hulsery guarantees that the sleeve is intimately connected to the cable core at every point receives. In Fig. A, a? -Piece is shown, which is used to connect three cables serves. The bulge marked d 'is not yet compressed while the bulge d is pressed together and the sleeve b tightly encloses the cable core. Of course, the sleeves can be used as simple connecting pieces, branch terminals o. The like. Be trained.
