Description
Process for the production of high-boiling, storage-stable heating oils or motor fuels It is known to use pressure extraction or mild pressure hydrogenation of solid fuels, especially coal, to be carried out in such a way that the newly formed Oils consist for the most part of high-boiling components and the once introduced, The amount of grinding oil lying in the boiling range of the middle oil remains unchanged. It is important here for the paste or extraction of the starting material to recover the extractant (solvent) required. This can be, for example happen by the fact that the liquefaction product to paste @bzw. The amount required for extraction is earth-distilled. In this case, however, the liquefaction product suffers Changes caused by the formation of deposits detrimental to the subsequent Use as heating oil or motor fuel. If you get the earth-distilled portion The disadvantage mentioned is replaced by oils that come from other processes not resolved. It has even been shown that in this case usually even stronger deposits appear.
It has now been found that in the production of high-boiling Heating oils or motor fuels made by pressure extraction or mild pressure hydrogenation of solid fuels adapted with oils in the medium boiling range, such as hard coal, Lignite, oil shale or peat, very shelf-stable oils, if you get that liquefaction product obtained in pressure extraction or pressure hydrogenation Separation of the solid, non-meltable components in a manner known per se liquefied hydrocarbons containing r to 3 carbon atoms in the molecule, Treated extractively at elevated temperature and under pressure, the dissolved portion middle boiling range after separation of the solvent as a grind oil for fresh ones Coal used and the undissolved asphalt content with one on another Medium oil of a cyclic nature obtained is mixed.
Zur Ausführung des Verfahrens wird z. B. Kohle in fein verteiltem
Pressure extraction or mild pressure hydrogenation is advantageous in Presence of catalysts such as oxides, sulfides, halides or oxalates of Tin, molybdenum, tungsten, zinc, manganese or iron, optionally together with halogen or halogen compounds, in particular of carbon or sulfur, or ammonium chloride or iron or iron compounds together with alkali or alkaline substances, executed.
Die anzuwendende Menge des Mittelöls beträgt im allgemeinen 15 bis 30°/0.The product obtained in this way is then mechanically, e.g. B. by centrifugation, wholly or largely of the solid non-meltable fractions and expediently also of any gasoline formed, z. B. by careful distillation or fractional condensation under pressure, freed and with liquefied hydrocarbons with 1 to 3 hydrocarbon atoms, z. B. propane or ethane or mixtures of these, optionally with the addition of gaseous methane and / or hydrogen, which dissolve in the liquefied hydrocarbons, at elevated temperature, e.g. B. 2o to 1000, and treated with extraction under pressure, the middle oil going into solution and the asphalt-containing heavy oil is precipitated. The layers that are formed are then separated from one another and the undissolved fractions are treated with a medium oil which, to avoid deposition of cyclic, e.g. B. is aromatic in nature and expediently from the same or a similar starting material, but is obtained in a different process, diluted; For example, in the treatment of hard coal, those cyclic middle oils are suitable which have been obtained from high-temperature tar or from primeval tar or pressure hydrogenation products of hard coal by distillation. The amount of the middle oil to be used is generally 15 to 30%.
The method also has the advantage that this is done with the extraction Liquefied hydrocarbons, heavy fuel oil that remains undissolved only at the point of consumption needs to be provided with the required amounts of medium oil.
It is known that cyclic hydrocarbons have good solvency for asphalt. However, solutions made in this way are inherent not very suitable as heating oils. It is, therefore, surprising that when it is disassembled of the liquefaction product obtained by the process claimed here in a mixture with cyclic hydrocarbons is a valuable heating oil.
Dabei gehen 55 °/o in Lösung, während 45'i, ungelöst zurückbleiben. Example Finely ground hard coal is extracted from the process self-originating middle oil made into a paste in the ratio i: i. The paste will add 0.06 per cent Tin oxalate and 1.15% ammonium chloride, based on coal, and two parts high-boiling Product withdrawn from the separator, added to 1 part of coal. Of the The resulting coal pulp is then combined with hydrogen under a pressure of 50 at in a gas-heated preheater, heated to 42o ° and through a reaction chamber passed, with a cooling throughput of 0.18 kg per liter of reaction space and hour is adhered to. The reaction material then passes into a separator, which is 410 ' is held, and from which withdraw hydrogen and vaporous oils at the upper end. High-boiling product is withdrawn from the lower part of the separator some of it is fed back to the fresh food pulp. The vaporous products get into a scraper in which they are condensed. Mixture of the product From the separator and scraper, the solid fractions are centrifuged freed and with 5 times the amount of liquefied propane at 9o0 below the themselves adjusting pressure treated in a closed vessel. 55% go into solution, while 45'i, remain undissolved. , -The dissolved portion consists essentially off.!: Medium oil and, after separating the L6, - * .. 'solvent, serves as a grinding oil for fresh coal. The undissolved part has a melting point of 5o to 6o ° on. It is made with z5 parts of a tar by distillation of high-temperature coal extracted middle oil from the boiling limit of Zoo to 325o, based on 100 parts of the undissolved portion, mixed, with a heating oil with a between o and io ° lying melting point is formed, which no deposits even after prolonged storage forms.
If, on the other hand, 55 parts of medium oil are removed from the 01 55 parts of medium oil by vacuum steam distillation, an oil remains that is only miscible to a limited extent with medium oil and when mixed with it, asphalt flocculates after a short time.
