Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung- metallischer überzüge auf Körpern aus beliebigen Stoffen Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Überziehen. von Körpern aus beliebigen Stoffen mit metallischen Oberflächenschichten. Es war bisher bei Körpern aus verschiedenen Stoffen. nicht möglich, sie mit Oberflächenschichten aus beliebigen Metallen zu versehen, da,. die Metalle, je nachdem 'welcher Art sie bzv. der zu überziehende Körper. sind, reicht stets gleich gut, sondern manchmal schlecht oder überhaupt nicht haften. So ist es z. B. besonders schwierig, Isolierkörper mit fest haftenden Metallüberzügen zu versehen. Die Erfindung gibt ein Mittel an, mit welchem es gelingt, Metallüberzüge auf Körpern herzustellen, bei denen dies bisher nicht möglich war. Erfindungsgemäß -werden die zu Überziehenden Körper in das flüssige, geschmolzene Überzugmetall eingetaucht und dabei in. rasche mechanische .Schwingungen versetzt. Es :hat sich gezeigt, daß dann auch, sehr gut haftende Überzüge bei solchen Körpern bzw. auch mit solchen überzugmetailen -entstehen, bei denen dies bisher nicht der Fall war. Die Wirkung des Verfahrens ist offenbar darin- zu sehen, daß die Oberfläche der Körper gegenüber dem überzugsmetall weitgehend aufgeschlossen wird, sei es, dar> durch die methänischen Schwingux@gen im Fall von metallischen Körpern etwa gebildete @Oxydschichten der Oberfläche, im Fall von poröslen Isolierkörpern,. beispielsweise die Poren verlegender Teilchen, abgestoßen werden. Es ist anzunehmen, daß bei dem Vorgang nach der Erfindung auch noch andere Erscheinungen mitbeteiligt sind, die bisher noch nicht restlos geklärt werden konnten.Process for the production of metallic coatings on bodies from any Fabrics The invention relates to a method of covering. of bodies from any Substances with metallic surface layers. Das Gefäß wird über einen Tragbolzen 4, an welchem es befestigt ist, in rasche mechanische Schwingungen versetzt. Dabei bildet sich auf dem Isolierkörper ein- dichter und gut haftender metallischer Überzug, der auch höheren Beanspruchungen mechanischer und thermischer Art gewachsen ist. Es ist natürlich nicht notwendig, wie im dargestellten Beispiel, den Stab ,3 .mittelbar über das Gefäß i in Schwingungen zu versetzen; man kann vielmehr den Stall in eine geeignete Einspannvorrichtuxig einsetzen und mittels dieser dem Isolierstab die mechanischen Schwingungen erteilen.
