Description
The invention relates to a further development of the patent 670 507, according to which the preparation of fresh sea silt or the like for the purpose of making it biologically high-quality composition at the place of origin or discovery in the sea, as far as possible without impairment these values can be brought to any point of use, namely also in a readily distributable form.
The invention consists in replacing the according to the method of Main patent used sand in the rest. unchanged processing methods to use dry and sufficiently crushed silt. Such silt can are known to be obtained by settling fresh silt by storage, then hibernates in smaller heaps as so-called, spit-ripe silt, the size of which guarantees that they will freeze to the core and that you will then get these heaps smashed and crushed. However, it does not apply to the method of the invention on how the drying of the silt is carried out, but only on that the individual grain of such silty grit is dry enough to be mixed with it fresh silt can serve as a core to which it adheres, far from being able to do so also contains a certain amount of moisture, which prevents it from being soaked up works. Because the different types of silt come in very different compositions be won, it is a matter of attempt; the cheapest for each individual case To determine the dry state. There may also be cases where you get one as a result greater drought, some absorbent silt gravel with a fresh silt of somewhat excessive liquid content, so that in the mixture then a balance entry.
It was impossible to foresee whether dry silty grits were mixed up with fresh silt would rob the latter of too much moisture because he has too much suction. It was furthermore very doubtful whether a silt semolina which was itself sufficiently moist to absorb water from the fresh silt to prevent, could have such a granular nature that the mixture would have the same throwing power as using pure sand.
It is also known to finish with sewage sludge to be dried Mix the dried material with the material to be dried first. In the case of the Invention, however, is not about drying about moisture retention. Also, the finished silt mixed with sand should not be used as an additive for new ones are used to be processed, but rather: a completely. differently pretreated and dried silt semolina should: for: keeping freshness and making it suitable for spreading of the new to serve in place of sand.
By the method of the invention it is achieved that the previous Ballast of sand in the mixture, which itself does not contain any activating constituents, in the added old silt semolina receives a replacement which is biologically inferior is, but has at least the content of inorganic and inorganic substances. This increases the value of the mixture. Especially for cultivation This increase in value is important for pure sandy soils. It is still possible now Types of silt with a higher sand content or of any lower value than dry semolina to be processed with fresh, high-quality silts.
The method can also be applied to similar silt-like masses, which are of high biological quality when fresh, but at least when dry still have certain .inorganic constituents of value. . Likewise one can Dry semolina from #, dear-like Schlärrimen with fresh sea silt 'äVer versa Mix dry sea silt with such fresh sludge.
If an amount of 100 kg silt with a water content of 50% 500 kg dry sludge or an amount of 100 kg silt with a water content of 40% 400 kg dry sludge are added and mixed intimately, the result is a slightly crumbly mass suitable as a soil improver.
