Abstract

A meat fork (1) comprising a fork shank (2) having at one end thereof a number of prongs (4, 5) and at the other a handgrip (6) with an integrated slide-off mechanism (7, 8, 9) for sliding a piece of meat stuck on the prongs from the prongs, which slide-off mechanism comprises a control member (8) located near the handgrip, a slide-off member (9) located near the prongs and capable of being reciprocated in the longitudinal direction of the prongs, and a push member (7) extending along the fork shank and provided between the control member (8) and the slide-off member (9).

Die schematisch in den Figuren dargestellte Fleischgabel 1 weist einen Schaft 2 auf, der an dem einen Ende einen gegabelten Bereich 3 mit zwei Zinken 4, 5 aufweist, und der am anderen Ende mit einem Handgriff 6 versehen ist. Entlang dem Schaft erstreckt sich vom Handgriff zum gegabelten Bereich ein langgestreckter Schubstreifen 7, das nahe dem Handgriff mit einem Betätigungselement 8 verbunden ist, und das am anderen Ende ein Abschiebeelement 9 aufweist. Das Betätigungselement 8 ist entlang dem Schaft 2 der Gabel mittels des Daumens der Hand hin und her verschiebbar, welche den Handgriff beim Gebrauch hält. Das Betätigungselement kann jede geeignete Form aufweisen, vorzugsweise jedoch, wie in den Figuren dargestellt, ist es derart ausgebildet, daß die Form des Betätigungselements in der Ruhestellung mit der Form des Handgriffs koinzidiert und gleichsam eine Einheit mit dem Handgriff bildet. Das Betätigungselement ist mit einer Vertiefung 10 versehen, in welche der Daumen des Benutzers angeordnet werden kann. Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel befindet sich die Vertiefung 10 an der Oberseite der Gabel. Auf der Unterseite kann der Handgriff der Gabel mit mehreren Vertiefungen 11 für die Finger versehen sein. Claims

1.
