In beiden
Brake conveyor for underground mining operations The invention relates

Funding, with the coal or a similar raw material under a more or less
is conveyed downwards at a steep angle by arranging special damming elements
In a gutter - a random shooting down of the conveyed goods, which slide by themselves
is prevented. In particular, the new conveyor is intended for inclined construction and
suitable where the; Conveyor due to the angled course towards the collapse of the seam
the strut has a double inclination, namely one in its longitudinal extension
and one at right angles to this, in such a way that its bottom, which is the sliding surface for
the conveyed goods, not horizontally, but at an angle to the horizontal
runs. Brake conveyors for underground and especially for inclined construction
already proposed in large numbers, essentially two groups
can distinguish: One group includes funding in which endless, i. H.
traction devices (chains, ropes, etc.) running around two reversal points are used,
to which storage elements in the form of rectangular or round sheets are attached.
In the case of these conveyors, a conveyor strand and an empty strand are therefore present, from which
already the one major disadvantage of this group, em-. Lich that for the underground
Mine operation4 too high weight results. In addition, these conveyors have on top of each other
arranged rubble too great a loading height; the material to be conveyed must therefore be large

the two fragments side by side, so that the coal by itself laterally into the conveyor strand
slips in, then only a single traction device can be used, which of course
results in a limitation of the performance of the conveyor; also can

To prevent the goods from falling over the course of the conveyor. The second
Group consists of one with two or only one side wall (angled channel)
equipped conveyor trough and from: fixed plates as damming elements. Their attachment
takes place either over the channel or on a side wall of the same or on
Floor. If the flaps are controlled in a certain way by a linkage or the like,
for example folded up or down in opposite directions, there is a risk of
that this rhythm of movement through large pieces of coal, which are just in the places
of the valves is disturbed by clamping these large pieces.
If, on the other hand, the flaps are not necessarily moved, but left to their own devices,
by about the action of a spring force holding it in the locked position
there is an absolute risk that the conveyed material will shoot through. In both
In some cases, this group of sponsors lacks the necessary operational reliability.
Finally, steep conveyor chutes are known, which are mostly semicircular

work reliably in favorable slip or inclination conditions.
The new funding is intended to avoid the disadvantages outlined above:
So there should be the possibility with him that the coal will come to him by itself
runs in. Furthermore, a special return strand should be avoided and thus the weight
reduced to a minimum, what for the folding and for the transport
is of great importance at all. Ultimately, the funding should be in the amount

The main thing is that: ß those from the upright back wall of the gutter, which open

Slopes can be used, the invention provides for both the baffle plates
as well as the fixed baffles in their inclination both to the conveying direction
as well as adjustable to the lying position. The drive of the baffles takes place
in the simplest way via a back and forth running along the rear wall
Drive linkage to which the plates are attached via articulated links or in a similar manner
are attached. The rhythm in which the baffles are moved back and forth
can be different. The plates can, for example, be more or less large
Strokes are moved evenly back and forth, with the individual strokes either immediately
are consecutive or separated by pauses; but they can too

According to the invention, the baffle plates can then move back and forth
always retain their damming effect and, as a result of their rhythm of movement, the goods
convey away in their longitudinal direction over their free end. Whether all the baffles
in the same direction or the adjacent plates are moved in opposite directions depends on
the respective operating conditions. As for the reliable operation of the

The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.
Fig.r shows a. Piece of the new conveyor seen from above while
Fig. z illustrates a cross-section. As the pictures show
or, as can be seen from the foregoing, the brake conveyor has two
Inclinations, namely one in its longitudinal direction and a second transverse to it
this. It consists of an angled channel r, which draws the coal from joint 2 in the direction of the arrow
(Fig. 2) flows in by itself. From the upright rear wall 3 of the gutter step
Stowage plates 4, which find their abutment on upright rollers 5 and
with the help of the linkage 6, which runs behind the rear wall, moved back and forth
are, the articulated members 7 the connection between the linkage 6 and
the plates q. produce. This arrangement of the drive linkage has its special
Advantage that this does not affect the conveying cross-section of the channel and the
The overall height of the conveyor is not increased unnecessarily. The working method of the sponsor
is either that the conveyed goods, which are on or in front of the baffles 5
accumulates during the forward movement of the plates, i.e. towards the free end of the
Channel is directed, is taken, which has the consequence that the column of conveyed goods,
which lies in the angle of the conveyor trough, slides down by the corresponding amount,
and that during the backward movement of the plates q., which hit the rear wall of the channel
towards takes place, the slipped good that is not pushed back up
can slip over the free edge of the baffle plates, or it will through
the pulling in of the baffle plates of the conveying cross-section of the gutter 'released so that
the pent-up good has the opportunity to continue its path in the longitudinal direction of the channel.
Especially in the former case, the good of the fixed guide plates
8 deflected again in the direction of the rear wall 3, so that it is the next baffle
q. slips back into the corner of the gutter. The drive linkage 6 is at g
the rear wall 3 out and according to the individual channel sections in sections
divided in an expedient manner, for example by hooks or eyes or
in, similar form, are connected to each other. The drive can be done in a simple manner
consist of two compressed air cylinders at the top and bottom of the linkage
attack and give it the desired back and forth movement.
