Oil firing The invention relates to oil firing with a die
Combustion air promoting fan and a special one for mixing the oil
with the atomizing air as well as for conveying the resulting mixture
Mixing pump serving the burner nozzle. In known oil firing systems, this is avoided
of coking and contamination of the oil outlet nozzles after switching off the oil supply
by manually operated switching of taps or valves to the pressurized water vapor
The oil nozzles are blown in through the same, which may result in a useless
prolonged introduction of steam into the combustion chamber can occur. With other well-known
Oil burners with supply of oil and combustion air under pressure in separate
Cables are equipped, when the system is decommissioned after
Shutdown of the oil supply to the fan motor automatically still a previously determined one
Period of time continued to operate until all of them cause coking or the like
Quantities of oil have been burned. But since with such burners the oil-carrying lines
are not blown out, is a complete prevention of oil coke formation
etc. not guaranteed. You now have when you turn off such systems
already provided a blowing out of the oil-carrying line by auxiliary air, wherein
in one case that in one special. , arranged auxiliary container accumulated
Atomizing compressed air after the failure of the compressed air supply from the compressor
Should blow out the oil line and nozzle. In the other case it was for the same purpose
an auxiliary air line fed by the total air flow generated by the fan
intended. Both the filling of the auxiliary air tank by the atomizing air
delivering compressor as well as the insufficiently acted upon by the total air flow
Auxiliary air line cannot provide a safe blow-out that prevents oil coke formation
the oil line leading to the burner outlet. In contrast, the
the subject of the invention new oil firing, which in contrast to the known
Systems with a mixing pump fed with air and oil make the difference
on that the mixing pump with its suction nozzle serving for air and oil introduction
to the shut-off element which is arranged in the vicinity of this nozzle and which regulates the oil flow
is connected and under the action of an automatic control device
stands, by which it is controlled so that it is after the oil supply is shut off
for the purpose of
Blow-out and burn-out in it and the nozzle line
any remaining mixture continues to run at full speed for a while. Of the
The advantage achieved in this way does not only consist in cleaning the burner nozzle
when the furnace is switched off, but it is also achieved that
the entire oil-air mixture line and the mixing pump itself which feeds this line
,getting cleaned. As a result, according to the invention, at each shutdown
of the system in the initial state prevailing before the first switch-on
so that the correct mixture composition is immediately obtained when the system is switched on again
and funding is achieved. In addition, when the system is switched off, they are still
Oil or mixture residues present in the mixture line and mixture pump through the
subsequent air pressed out so that they are blown out in the correct composition
and burned out completely @ without residue. The invention thus works
making these advantages possible via the known proposals described above
in addition, which: limit themselves to blowing after the furnace has been switched off
Air flow to only cause cleaning of the burner nozzle.
To properly carry out the operations described above
you can use special automatic facilities, but they are in themselves
are not the subject of the invention.
schematisch dargestellt. In the figure is an embodiment of the subject of the invention
shown schematically.
3 in diesen zurückgeleitet. Eine mit der Förderpumpe zwangsläufig angetriebene,
gleichfalls im. Gehäuse i angeordnete Zuteilpumpe entnimmt dem Pumpengehäuse i Brennöl
When the burner is switched on, the fuel oil is drawn from one in the pump housing
i located feed pump sucked out of the container 2 and through the return line
3 fed back into this. An inevitably driven by the feed pump,
also in. Housing i arranged dispensing pump takes fuel oil from the pump housing i
and presses it to the shuttle valve q .. from there in the set amount
the fuel reaches the mixer 5 and is sucked in with the mixer pump 6
Air swirled together in the mixing pump and pressed towards nozzle 7. The combustion air
itself is made by one. special (not shown) fan supplied to the burner.
When the burner is switched off, the shuttle valve 4 is switched over,
so that in this case no fuel oil is fed from the metering pump to the burner.
However, the mixing pump itself continues to run for some time to remove the remaining oil
to press together with the sucked mixed air through the nozzle 7, thus at a standstill
of the burner due to the heat reflected from the refractory lining of the combustion chamber
or the like. Do not coke oil residues on the nozzle.
