Nailing device for heel nailing machines The invention relates to
on a nailing device such as that used for nailing heels onto the shoe
finds. There is a risk that the .einched from the inside of the shoe
Nails protrude on the outside of the heel sides. To avoid this, it is known
bevel the surfaces of the hammers so that the nails slant into the
Take hammer guides and drive them at an angle inwards into the heels.
However, this inclination of the nails due to the inclination of the hammer surface is
not guaranteed in all cases, as dirt easily penetrates into the hammer guides
and thereby the inclined surface is easily leveled again. The known nailing devices
heel nailing machines where the hammer head is beveled still have the
Disadvantage that the nail head is inclined after the nail has been driven in
and does not conform to the surface of the insole.
According to the present invention, the nails are inclined
by a resilient part of the hammer surface. This compliant part exists
expediently from a guided in the hammer, spring-loaded bolt on the
from the axis of the workpiece carrier remote side of the hammer axis is arranged.
The spring-loaded bolt is designed in such a way that it has a conically pointed
Has end that engages the nail head.
After the
Driving in the nail occurs this bolt in the hammer back, so that only the hammer surface
acts on the nail head. This is followed by a turning nail = :; head, like that,
that it lies parallel to the brazil? -: - sole surface, although the nail stone
occupies an inclined position in the paragraph.

The nail stick which carries the shoe in a known manner has one
the nailing device containing upper part 12, which on its upper end a plate
14 wears. The workpiece, namely the shoe S and the heel, sits on the plate
H, which is clamped by the known abutment p. In the nail stick is io
a piston 16 vertically movable with a block i 8 in which a number of hammers
2o are attached. The hammers move in guides 22 of the upper part i2 of the
Nail stick and are passed through the plate i4. Every hammer owns
a blunt top 42 but eccentric to the axis of the hammer, and
on the outside of the hammer end, seen from the center of the nail stick
from, a bore 26 (Fig. 2) is arranged in which a vertically movable bolt
28 seated. A spring 32 is pushed onto the tapered lower end 3o of the bolt 28,
which endeavors to push the bolt up, so that the cone-shaped pointed
End 34 of the bolt protrudes beyond the end 24 of the hammer. For easier removal
or installing the bolt 28 together with its spring 32 is the hammer with a longitudinal groove
35 (FIG. 2) which connects the hammer guide 22 to the bore 26. the
Clearance of the top of each hammer guide 22 is preferably greater than that
Diameter of the hammer, a sleeve 36 being used between the hammer and the guide
is. - A flange 38 on the lower end of the sleeve is secured by a spring 42 (Fig.
2) held against a shoulder 4o of the nail stick part 12. To accommodate the flange
and the spring is extended to guide 22 at 44 (Fig. 2). The top of the sleeve
36 protrudes beyond the plate 14 and is pointed at 46. Even with the perfect
Pushing together the spring 42 is still the upper end of the sleeve 36 slightly over the
Plate 14 protrudes, thus penetrating something into the workpiece surface and holding it
Workpiece secured against lateral displacement. Furthermore, thus forms the top of the
Sleeve 36 an uninterrupted transition or a guide between hammer guide
22 and work piece, through which in particular the penetration #, 'won foreign bodies,
Dirt and the like in the hammer guide is avoided and also the nails when
Drive in better - be guided.
In operation of the device, i. H. on the upward movement each
Hammer 20, the needle point penetrates the insole (Fig. 4), which is followed by the
sleeve 36 pressed down is held, and enters paragraph H (Fig. 5).
During the inward movement of the needle tip towards the axis of the heel, the
due to the inclined position of the nail on the hammer 2o, the nail head can move
outwards with respect to the nail stick to the opposite inner socket wall
move freely, as the spring-loaded bolt 28 slide down slightly
leaves. As a result, the shaft part of the nail is only slightly bent and also at the same time
the nail head is not clamped firmly against the socket wall. This will in particular
a bursting of the heel avoided, since the nail head is better according to the diagonal direction
of the nail shaft can adjust. When the nail is completely driven into the
The workpiece is finally the nail shaft near the nail head (Fig. 6)
slightly curved, making the head lighter and flatter in the insole
lets sink so that the surface of the head is substantially parallel or in
is the same plane to the surface of the insole. ° Because the inclined position of the nail
only from the spring-loaded bolt, but not from the inclination of the hammer surface
depends, the surface of the
Nail head of the surface of the insole can be easily adapted, even if this
is hollowed out. This is achieved in particular in that the top of the hammer
towards the outside, seen from the center of the nail stick, is beveled, like
at 5o in Fig.7 and 8 shown. When the nail is fully driven into the workpiece
the beveled surface 50 of the hammer then gives the nail shank a stronger one
Bend than the flat end 24 of the nail driver so that the surface of the
Can adapt the nail head of the arched insole surface (Fig. 8).
