Description
Elektrische Hochdruckdampfentladungslampe mit Quarzgefäß, festen Hauptelektroden und die Zündung erleichternden-Hilfselektroden In dem Patent 677 9 i 6 ist eine Hochdruckdampfentladungslampe mit Quarzgefäß, insbesondere Quecksilberhochdrucklampe, für mehr als 5 Atm. Druck beschrieben, bei der die Hilfselektrode und ihre Stromzuführung aus einer zusammenhängenden, längs verlaufenden Metallbelegung eines in einem Gefäßstutzen eingeschmolzenen und mit dem einen Ende in das Quarzgefäß hineinragenden Quarzstabes oder Quarzrohres besteht, so daß der auch das im Gefäßinnern liegende Ende des Quarzstabes oder Quarzrohres bedeckende Teil der Metallbelegung als Hilfselektrode und der zusammen mit dem Quärzstab oder Quarzrohr im Gefäßstutzen eingeschmolzene andere Teil der Metallbelegung als Stromzuführung für die Hilfselektrode dient. Hierbei besteht die Stromzuführung für die Hauptelektrode ebenfalls aus einer im Gefäßstutzen eingeschmolzenen Metallbelegung, die jedoch auf der Außenseite eines weiteren Quarzrohres aufgetragen ist, das den stabförmigen oder rohrförmigen Hilfselektrodenträger konzentrisch umschließt. Die Herstellung eines inneren Quarzstabes ,oder Quarzrohres mit als Hilfselektrode dienender Metallbelegung und eines äußeren die belagförmige Zuführung zur Hauptelektrode tragenden Rohres, das mit dem Träger der Hilfselektrode und auch dem Stutzen des Gefäßes verschmolzen werden muß, läßt sich dadurch vereinfachen, daß nach der Erfindung die auf einem :eingeschmolzenen Quarzstab oder einem eingeschmolzenen Quarzrohr aufgetragene belagförmige Stromzuführung für die Hilfselektrode streifenförmig gestaltet und durch zwei beiderseits angeordnete streifenförmige Aussparungen von einer auf dem gleichen Quarzstab oder Quarzrohr angeordneten belagförmigen Stromzuführung für die benachbarte Hauptelektrode getrennt ist. Es ist demgemäß bei Herstellung der Lampe nur erforderlich, an dem die Hilfselektroden enthaltenden Ende des Quarzgefäßes :einen einzigen die beiden Metallbelegungen tragenden stabförmigen oder rohrförmigen Quarzkörper einzuschmelzen.Electric high-pressure vapor discharge lamp with quartz vessel, fixed main electrodes and auxiliary electrodes that facilitate ignition. Die Entladungslampe besteht, wie diejenige nach dem Hauptpatent, aus ,einem eine Edelgasgrundfüllung und einen verdampfbaren Metallbodenkörper :enthaltenden rohrförmigen Quarzgefäß i, das beiderseits _ in etwas verjüngte Stutzen 2 übergeht. Im oberen Stutzen 2 ist ein Quarzstab q. eingeschmolzen, dessen längs verlaufende stromleitende Metallbelegung 3 als Stromzuführung für eine aus einem kleinen Metallblock, einem Metallstift oder auch .einer Drahtwendel bestehende Hauptelektrode 5 dient. Im unteren Stutzen 2 ist ein etwas längerer Quarzstab 8 so eingesc'hm:olzen, daß sein inneres Ende etwas in das Gefäßinnere hineinragt. Auf diesem Quarzstab 8 befindet sieh eine schmale, streifenförmige Metallbelegung io, -.die wiederum wie bei dem Hauptpatent mit ihrem freiliegenden inneren Ende io' die Hilfselektrode und mit ihrem eingeschmolzenen übrigen Teil die Stromzuführung für die Hilfselektrode bildet. Die Stromzuführung io ist durch beiderseits von ihr frei gelassene streifenförmige Aussparungen 2o von einer auf dem gleichen Quarzstab 8 angeordneten, längs verläufenden zweiten Metallbelegung i i getrennt, die die Stromzuführung für die untere Hauptelektrode 5 bildet. -Die Entladungslampe, in deren Innernbeim Betriebe ein Metalldampfhochdruck, und. zwar zweckmäßig von mehr als 5 Atm., entsteht, ist von einem beispielsweise kerzenförmigen, lichtdurchlässigen, gegebenenfalls auch ultraviolettdurchlässigen Schutzgefäß 21 umschlossen, das einen Schraubsocke122 trägt und durch ein Fußrohr 23 abgeschlossen ist. In der Quetschstelle 24 des Fußrohres 23 sind zwei Stromzuführungsdrähte 25 und 26 vakuumdicht eingeschmolzen. Der Draht 25 steht einerseits mit dem Bodenkontakt des Sockels 22 und andererseits über die stromleitende Metallbelegung i i mit der unteren Hauptelektrode 5 in Verbindung. Der andere Stromzuführungsdraht 26 ist einerseits mit der Sockelhülse und andererseits über die Metallbelegung 3 des Quarzstabes q. mit der :oberen Hauptelektrode 5 verbunden. An die Stromzuführung 26 ist unter Zwischenschaltung eines Widerstandes 27 ein Draht 28 angeschlossen, der die Verbindung mit der Metallbelegung io,und der Hilfselektrode io'herstellt. Das Lampengefäß i ist mittels eines Tragstieles 29 an :der Quetschstelle 2¢ des Fußrohres 23 befestigt und mittels einer ihren oberen Stutzen 2 umschließenden Schraubenfeder 3o von der Spitze des Umschließungsgefäßes 2 i .abgestützt.
