Der Kochapparat besteht aus einem hohlen metallenen Gefäfs A, durch dessen Mitte der
Hauptheizcylinder B ' geht. Neben diesem Hauptzylinder B können noch Nebenheizcylinder
C in beliebiger Anzahl angeordnet werden. Die Heizcylinder sind durch Kanäle D
mit einander verbunden. Zum Schutz des Lampencylinders ist im Hauptheizcylinder der
Boden E mit dem Rohrstutzen F angebracht. Zum Füllen des Gefäfses A ist oben ein kurzes
Rohr G befestigt, welches durch ein Ventil verschlossen werden kann. Zum Ablassen des
Wassers aus dem Gefäfs A dient das Rohr G1 mit Ablafshahn. Zur Regulirung der Heizkraft
sind oben auf dem Gefäfs A zwei metallene Ringe HHx angebracht, welche mit Löchern
versehen sind. Der Ring H ist fest am Gefäfs A, wohingegen der Ring H1 lose und verschiebbar
ist, so dafs die Löcher je nach Bedarf geöffnet oder geschlossen werden können.The cooking apparatus consists of a hollow metal vessel A, through the center of which the main heating cylinder B 'passes. Der Kochapparat wird mit der Lampe derart in Verbindung gebracht, dafs der
Lampencylinder J in den Hauptheizcylinder B etwas hineinragt. Die Lampenhitze steigt nun
gezwungener Weise in dem Hauptcylinder B hoch und wird den Inhalt eines auf diesen
gesetzten Kochgefäfses sehr leicht zum Kochen bringen. Will man die Hitze für die Nebencylinder
C besser ausnutzen und sind auf diese letzteren ebenfalls Kochgefäfse gestellt,
so verschliefst man vermittelst Ringes H1 die Löcher in H, und wird die Hitze nun gezwungen
, durch die Kanäle D zu gehen und so nicht nur den Hauptbehälter A, sondern
auch die Nebencylinder und die darauf befindlichen Gefäfse zu erwärmen bezw. den Inhalt
derselben zum Kochen zu veranlassen. Auf diese Weise ist man im Stande, vermittelst einer
Lampenflamme mehrere Gefäfse zugleich zum Kochen benutzen zu können. Der Apparat
hat aufserdem aber noch den Vortheil, dafs er zugleich vermöge der Wärme ausstrahlenden
Metallflächen des Hauptbehälters A, in welchem das Wasser heifs wird, das Zimmer

mit Cylinderansatz F behufs Einführung der heifsen Verbrennungsluft in den Apparat verseilen
