Entwicklungsverfahren für Diazoverbindungen enthaltende lichtempfindliche
Schichten . Zusatz zum Patent 674 144 Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 9. Februar
1936 .ab Das Hauptpatent hat angefangen am 28. Dezember 1935 Patenterteilung bekanntgemacht
Wasserstoffionen verbrauchen bzw. Hydroxylionen in Freiheit setzen, ohne Alkali
Gute Resultate erhält man beispielsweise
Hydr oxylionen in Freiheit gesetzt

Addendum to patent 674 144 Patented in the German Empire on February 9, 1936 .ab The main patent began on December 28, 1935. The patent was granted on August 3, 1939. The subject of main patent 674 144 is, a process for the development of photosensitive layers containing diazo compounds where the alkali required for development is produced by chemical conversion from several substances that are not capable of development on their own. In a further development of this process, it has been found that in many cases it is also advantageously possible to convert those substances which are incapable of developing and which consume hydrogen ions or liberate hydroxyl ions during their reaction without forming alkali. These substances, too, like those used in accordance with the method of patent 674 144, are either all contained in the light-sensitive layer from the outset, so that when the exposed layer is treated with water vapor, the change in acidity necessary for coupling the diazo compound with the azo component is achieved, or they are only partially in the shift from the start. In the latter case, the missing part is then applied to the layer after exposure, optionally together with an azo component. Good results can be obtained, for example, by using prim. Sodium phosphate on the one hand and ammonium molybdate on the other. Instead of these substances, other combinations of oxygen-containing 9 + - iall & Pag .. or their salts with oxygen-containing, # ""'°&'i-i4s,;, -.-- ° or their salts or with isopolyacids or their salts be used. Heteropolyacids or their salts are formed from these combinations by reaction, with hydrogen ions. consumed or Hydroxylionen set free. Arsienates, for example, react in a similar way to phosphates. The molybdates can, for example, be replaced by tungstates or isopolybdates. The method is particularly suitable for developing layers with diazo compounds of relatively high coupling power, such as aminodiazo compounds, acylaminodiazo compounds and the like. A solution of 3 g of the zinc double salt of the diazo compound of i-benzoylamino-a, 5-diethoxy-q.-aminobenzene, 45 g of citric acid, ig boric acid, ig aluminum sulphate *) Your patent seeker stated that the inventors were : Dr. Wilhelm Neugebauer and Dr. Oslzar Süs in Wiesbaden-Biebrich. fat and 5 g prim. Sodium phosphate in 100 cc of water is painted on paper. After thorough drying, the sensitized layer is rubbed with an intimate mixture of equal parts of phloroglucinol and Ai'n. monium molybdate. To prevent the powder from dusting, the prepared side is covered with a thin layer of paraffin, which is used in a 2% gasoline solution: After exposure, water vapor is used to develop.
