Description

Hartgewebe der verschiedensten Art werden durch Aufeinanderlegen von einzelnen Gewebielagem hergestellt, die als Klebmittel vorzugsweise ein Kunstharz !enthalten, das unter Wärme zum Fließen gebracht und durch Druck zu dem fertigen Hartgewebe verpreßt wird. Als "Gewebe werden hauptsächlich Baumwollgewebe verwendet. Es ist auch bekannt, Kunstseide verschiedener Art als Faserstoff für Kunstharzmassen zu benutzen. Dabei hat es sich herausgestellt, daß "sich die Kunstseidengewebe nicht ohne weiteres wie die Baumwollgewebe mittels Kunstharzes zusammenkleben und verpressen lassen. An .sich !erscheint die Verwendung der Kunstseidengewebe für das Endergebnis des Erzeugnisses ebensogut möglich wie die bisher verwendeten Baumwollgewebe, indem nämlich die Biege- und die Schlagbiegefestigkeit bei den Kunstseidengeweben mindestens ebenso hoch liegen wie bei Verwendung von Baumwollgeweben. Auch die Struktur des Gewebes, d. h. die Durchbrüche zwischen Kett- und Schußfäden, die das Bindemittel durch die Gewebeschichten hindurchtreten lassen, wie auch die ,aus Eimzelfasern bestehenden Fäden gibt dieser Auffassung Raum. Man war daher der Ansicht, daß eine genügende Verankerung der mit Kunstharz getränkten Schichten im Enderzeugnis gegeben sein müßte. Werden jedoch1 aus diesen Stoffen hergestellte Schichtkörper für solche Zwecke verwendet, wo eine größere Spaltfestigkeit in den einzelnen Lagen verlangt wird, so stellt sich heraus, daß die Hartgewebe aus Kunstseidengeweben in dieser Beziehung eine äußerst geringe Festigkeit aufweisen.Hard tissue of the most varied of types are produced by laying individual layers of tissue on top of one another, which preferably contain a synthetic resin as an adhesive, which is made to flow under heat and pressed to form the finished hard tissue. Diese Nachteile werden 'erfindungsgemäß dadurch beseitigt, daß in bekannter Weise entglättete bzw. aufgerauhte Kunstseidengewebe oder -fäden zur Herstellung der Kunstharz enthaltenden zu verpressenden Schichtkörper verwendet werden. Z. B. kann das Kunstseidengewebe in bekannter Weise so bearbeitet sein, daß viele feine Einzelfasern der Kunstseidenfäden aus der Gewebeebene heraustreten. Man kann dies erreichen dadurch, daß die Kunstseidenfäden bzw. die Kunstseidengewebe in bekannter Weise vor dem Auftragen des Kunstharzes auf mechanischem Wege in kurzen Zwischenräumen geknickt oder gebrochen sind. In der Verästelung und Schlingenbildung der jeweils aus den benachbart liegenden Gewebebahnen herausstellenden Fäden scheint die überaus große Spaltfestigkeit gegenüber den mit nicht aufgerauhten Kunstseidengeweben hergestellten Kunstharzschichtkörpern begründet zu sein.
