Filling device The invention relates to a filling device
for bottles and other vessels with one at the bottom through a positively controlled
Valve lockable filling tube and an air line leading to the vessels. the
Invention is that your- the lower opening of the liquid filling tube
shut-off (inevitably) controlled valve, a second valve in the fluid path
is connected upstream, which is connected to the first valve and as a function of
this is so inevitably controlled that in the idle state of the device either
the connection of the liquid inlet to the first valve or to an air suction line
is interrupted. This ensures that when the lower outlet valve is closed
In the event of a leak, no significant amount of liquid will drip out
can and with suction filling devices an undesirable siphoning out of the liquid
not possible. Is it a facility in which the liquid
is filled into the vessels under overpressure or falling pressure, the additional
Valve switched in the fluid path. In the case of suction filling devices, on the other hand, controls
the additional valve the connection path between "the lower pressure chamber and the interior of the vessel,
thereby preventing the liquid from being lifted up from the filling tube.
In the case of devices for filling barrels, one already has in the liquid supply line
a manually operated tap turned on while the filling tube ended up through one
Valve is complete. However, the two shut-off devices are not mutually exclusive
connected and do not work in dependence on each other. Rather, it remains that
Leave the operator to open the tap in the supply line as required and
close.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown,
namely Fig. i shows a section through a pressure filling device and Fig. a shows a
Section through a suction filling device.
i i befestigt.
In seiner Offenstellung
The individual filling nozzles ii are attached to a rotating support part io. The liquid to be filled is conducted via a line 1z and reaches the vessel indicated by dashed lines via a filling pipe 13. A line 1q runs concentrically with the liquid filling pipe 13. for the return air escaping from the vessel to be filled. At the top of the return air line is a connecting piece 15, which leads to a vessel into which the return air can enter together with any liquid that has been entrained. At the air pipe 1q. a valve body 16 is attached to the lower end, which closes the lower outlet opening of the filling tube 13. When the valve 16 is open, the connection between the interior of the vessel and the air line 14 is established through a channel 17. At the upper end of the air tube 14 there is another valve 18 which blocks the access to the liquid line 13. A part 19 is attached to the filling tube 13, against which the vessel to be filled is pressed. In this case, the filling pipe 13 is raised against the force of a spring 2o and the valve 16 is thereby initially opened. Upon further lifting, the tube 13 pushes against the valve 18 and opens it so that the liquid can flow from the line 12 into the tube 13 and further into the vessel. The air escaping from the vessel enters the return air line 1q via the bore 17 exposed when the filling tube is raised. In its open position, the valve 18 rests with its upper part against a seat 28.
The valve 16 has, since the liquid filling pipe is of small diameter, only a small valve sealing surface, so that a secure tight holding is not always guaranteed. This drawback is remedied by installing a second valve 18 in the fluid path. The attachment of both valves 18 and 16 to the air pipe 14, which is guided concentrically to the liquid line 13 , results in a simple device which can also be installed later. The lower valve 16 only needs to hold tight against the liquid column located in the pipe 13, while the valve i8 seals against the entire liquid pressure. The valve 18 can, since there is sufficient space in the connecting piece ii, be dimensioned to be sufficiently large.
,wie in Abb. i.
In
An Stelle
In Fig.2 the individual parts are labeled in the same way as in Fig. I. The difference is that the liquid is sucked into the vessel to be filled. For this purpose, the air line 14 is connected to a vacuum space. In addition to the shut-off valve 16, an additional valve ei is provided, which shuts off the path to the vacuum chamber when no vessel is to be filled. In this way, during breaks in operation, it is prevented that the liquid flowing in via the line 12 is constantly being leaked out of the liquid pipe 13 as a result of the negative pressure. In your valve body 21 a narrow throttle bore 22 is provided, which can be adjusted by a throttle screw 23. This throttle bore allows the liquid standing in the pipe 13 to be kept under negative pressure at all times. This ensures that in the event of any leaks in the valve 16, the liquid cannot drip out. If a bottle is to be filled, the part ig is again lifted together with your filling tube 13 through the bottle and the valve 16 is opened as a result. Then the valve 21 is opened and the connection of the air pipe 1q via slots 2.I. made with the negative pressure space. The liquid is now sucked into the bottle. Another valve 25 is intended to prevent liquid from getting into the air line. Instead of this valve, a stuffing box can also be provided, in which the air tube 14 is guided and which separates the liquid space from the air space. In Figs. Z and .2, 26 is a bell into which practice: a nozzle 27 is fed sterile air in order to be able to fill off the liquid in a sterile manner.
