Bei den bekannten Einrichtungen zum Beheizen von Eisenbahnabteilen befindet sich im allgemeinen der Heizkörper unter der Sitzbank und ist vielfach als elektrischer Heizofen ausgebildet, wie dies Abb. 1 zeigt. Erfahrungsgemäß erfördert eine gute Beheizung des Abteils sowohl eine besondere bauliche Gestaltung des Heizofens als auch die Anordnung eines zur Verteilung der Wärmemengen dienenden Leitbleches unter der Sitzfläche. Durch das Leitblech wird der von unten her eintretende und vom Heizkörper erwärmte Luftstrom hochgeleitet. Bei den bekannten Einrichtungen ist das Leitblech einerseits oben am vorderen Rand der Sitze, anderseits unten am hinteren Fußgesfell der Sitze befestigt. Die Heizkörper sind im allgemeinen kürzer als die Sitzbänke gehalten und am Fußbo'den befestigt. Infolgedessen werden die Sitzbänke nur zu einem Teil von • warmer Luft bestrichen und ungleichmäßig erwärmt. Die Belästigungen durch verbrannten Staub können daher bei dieser Vorrichtung nicht mehr auftreten.
