Description

Raketen nachfolgende Bedingungen gestellt i. D.aß der Feuerwerkskörper ein intensives und gleich stark gefärbtes Licht abgibt, d. h. die Flamme nicht .den Farbton wechselt, also weißer und dann wieder gelber wird; .Fireworks for signal ammunition In pyrotechnics, various Salts used to create colored lighting effects. For signal ammunition such a produces colored light -, verden, which is a strong one even in damp, foggy weather Has penetrating power. There are also z. B. for signal stars or signal bombs or missiles set the following conditions i. D. was the fireworks one emits intense and equally colored light, d. H. the flame does not The hue changes, so it becomes whiter and then more yellow again; .

Schuppen, zurücklassen; 4. daß die Signalsterne gut lagerbeständig sein müssen.2. that it was burned within a certain period of time, d. H. the flame goes out above the ground, so incombustible components arrive cold on the ground; 3. that the stars do not have incandescent particles in their tails when falling, so-called scales, leave behind; 4. that the signal stars must have a good shelf life.

The use of fluorides in pyrotechnics is known and man has therefore already established itself in pyrotechnics as the generator of sodium light in Greenland Cryolites served. This was used in mixtures with B.arium nitrate, aluminum and sulfur or in similar mixtures. For economic reasons it is man switched to the use of synthetic cryolite. But it can get through this product some malfunctions caused when the sodium and aluminum content of synthetic cryolite changes significantly.

It has now been found that one can obtain fireworks that meet all of the above conditions, but they are considerably better Luminosity than the Greenlandic cryolite or synthetic, theoretically containing composite cryolite if. man Mixtures of sodium fluoride used around cryolite.

,For example, mixtures of cryolite and sodium fluoride with an Na content of 36 to 37% and an Al content of 9.5 to II% are used. Example So parts by weight of barium nitrate, 10 parts by weight of sulfur (acid-free), 20 parts by weight of a powdered mixture, which in turn consists of 90 parts of synthetic cryolite (around 54.3% fluorine around 32.9% sodium) with 10 parts of sodium fluoride, are finely ground together, whereupon 2o parts of finely powdered aluminum (so-called aluminum grinding) are added. The mixture is then pressed into zinc or aluminum sleeves and, in the usual way, while watching a detonator, on a fireworks body .a. processed. ,
