Der in beiliegender Zeichnung 'dargestellte Gefäfsverschlufs eignet sich für Gefäfse von den kleinsten bis zu den gröfsten Dimensionen, nur müssen dieselben die in der Zeichnung angegebene Form haben. Das Gefäfs besteht, wie aus dem Verticalschnitt (Fig. 1) ersichtlich, gleichsam aus drei Abtheilungen ax , a.2 und aa, von denen die untere as den gröfsten, a2 einen kleineren und a{ den kleinsten Durchmesser aufweist. Der Verschlufs, welcher ein Entweichen des flüssigen wie auch des gasförmigen Inhaltes verhindert, ist folgendermafsen construirt. Am mittleren Theil a2 befindet sich ein in eine Rinne eingelassener Ring b, in dem zwei Federn e und c sich diametral gegenüberstehen. Diese halten den Deckel g, nachdem er über den oberen Theil au dem eigentlichen Hals des Gefäfses, geprefst worden, in der in Fig. 1 angedeuteten Stellung fest. Der Deckel besteht aus der Metallhülse g und. dem damit verlötheten Band d. Durch Niederpressen des Deckels g über den Kork/, welch letzterer an der äufseren Wand des Halses ^1 und in dem Winkel zwischen α, und a.2 fest angeleimt ist, wird ein Entweichen des Inhaltes unmöglich. Ist der Deckel d über den Kork/ und somit auch über den oberen Rand des Gefäfses fest niedergedrückt, so legt sich das umgebogene Ende du des Bandes unter das entsprechend gebogene Ende der Feder e, wodurch der obere Rand von U1 und die diesen umgebende Korkhülse f in die Vertiefung von g geklemmt wird. Diese Dichtung wird noch durch Drücken des Bandes d unter das umgebogene Ende der Feder e wesentlich erhöht, weil gleichsam zwischen dem vertieften oberen Theil von g einerseits, der Korkhülse f und dem Hals ax andererseits eine Klemmung hervorgebracht wird, welche ein Entweichen des Inhaltes geradezu ausschliefst. Soll das Gefäfs geöffnet werden, so wird durch Andrücken des Hebels h der Deckel g von der Feder e entfernt, das Band d in dem scharnierartigen Theil χ der Feder c herumgedreht, so dafs ein Rückwärtslegen des Deckels ermöglicht wird (s.
