Nach, dem Hauptpatent werden Ritzel auf dem Wellenstumpf von Bahnmotoren durch Aufschrumpfen derart befestigt, daß das Erwärmen zwecks Anlassens der gehärteten Ritzel gleichzeitig für den Aufsdhrumpfvorgang benutzt wird. Das Anlassen wurde deshalb unmittelbar vox oder beim Aufziehen des Ritzels auf den Wellenzapfen vorgenommen. Dadurch ergibt sich der Vorteil, daß das Aufschrumpfen mit einer höheren Erwärmung vorgenommen werden kann als sonst, denn bei vorherigem Anlassen und nachfolgendem Aufschrumpfen mit neuerlicher Erwärmung durfte die Erhitzung nicht zu hoch getrieben werden, um den Werkstoff nicht zu weich zu machen.According to the main patent, pinions are attached to the stub shaft of railway motors by shrink fitting in such a way that the heating for the purpose of tempering the hardened pinion is used simultaneously for the steaming-on process.
