Procedure for automatic continuous regulation of the maximum operating voltage
of electrical gas cleaning or testing devices In the case of electrical gas cleaning
or gas testing devices often have to use the high-voltage direct currents used for the Speider electrodes
at a certain height, as close as possible to the rollover limit
being held. These measures used for this purpose have been found in the previously known ones
Systems usually carried out by hand. It has also become known that the
to automatically carry out the necessary measures for voltage regulation in such a way,
that by switching on a control switch, the high voltage generator first automatically
put into operation and then the voltage also automatically to a certain
Height has been adjusted. In the present case it is now a question of the voltage regulation
set up in such a way that the voltage is automatically at the highest possible level,
namely in the vicinity of the rollover limit. The following is a
automatic control method suitable for this is shown.
eine hierfür empfindliche :@i)sprechvorrichtung. z.
According to the invention, the procedure for electric gas cleaners or gas testing devices is that the voltage is first brought up to the rollover limit by a regulator, then by a sensitive speaking device when the l'berscl) is inserted . z. B. pinn Fritter, a L'1) erstromrelais, a @l) <tI11111t1gS1'11Ci: Qangs relay , reduced by a little below the rollover limit and after a. a timer measured period of time is gradually regulated up again until the onset of new flashovers. In general, it is advantageous to first increase the voltage quickly up to the vicinity of the flashover limit and then to increase it slowly until flashovers occur; now the same game begins all over again. When the flashover begins, the voltage is automatically reduced again by a few percent and after a certain time, e.g. B. 11.2 to r minute, increased again in the manner described above until flashovers occur. In this way, the highest possible tension is automatically maintained in the gas train.
