Decklagen stehenden, untereinander verleimten Furnierstäben gebildeten Mittellagen
Diese Mittellagen bestehen also
Means for continuously producing from perpendicular to the
Top layers of standing, glued together veneer bars formed middle layers
of plywood panels The use of sawn timber in the construction and furniture industries
has the disadvantage that lumber (boards) can only be obtained in moderate widths
can and that the wood in the direction perpendicular to the fiber significantly lower strength
on tension and bending has to be parallel to the fiber. Larger flat structures made of wood,
which have approximately the same strength in two mutually perpendicular directions
are made in the plywood industry; thin barrier plates are thereby
made that three or more layers of veneer are glued together so that the fibers
of two superimposed layers cross each other. Stronger, so-called building and furniture panels

it is advantageous to break the natural connection between the fibers if possible.
When using boards one has tried to achieve this purpose by
that saw cuts have been made in them alternately from both sides.
The production of the middle layers from wooden strips or is also very common

Throwing the middle layer and thus the building and furniture board is prevented all the more effectively,
when the middle layer is divided into quite small units. From this realization
the so-called chopstick plate was created, in which the middle layers are made up of vertical ones

In cases of this style line it is therefore common for the line to be in a certain

bereits in derselben Weise gebildete Mittellage.
oberen Förderband 7r fehlerhafte, unbrauchbare Furnierstreifen auszulesen, da beim
The drawing shows an embodiment of the device according to the invention. The wet veneer tape b coming from the peeling machine or wound on a roll a is fed to a drying device c, which passes through the tape in order to leave it at the other end in the dry state. A downstream glue application device d applies glue to the top of the veneer band in strip form or point form; the veneer tape is fed by roll e to a cutting device (scissors) f, which separates veneer strips from the veneer tape in rapidly successive cuts, the width of which corresponds to the height of the middle layer to be produced. The cut strips are carried away on a lower conveyor belt g and held in place by an upper conveyor belt 7a. By sliding the conveyor belts g and h. with the intermediate veneer strips over the turning roller i, the veneer strips are transferred in a manner known per se from the horizontal to the vertical position and introduced into the pressing channel k. Instead of the conveyor belts g and h, conveyor belts lying parallel to one another can also be used at certain intervals. In the latter arrangement, the upper conveyor belts h can be used to apply the glue, so that the glue application device d can be omitted. A ram 1 moving at the same speed as the cutting device f, which can also be heated if necessary, pushes the inserted veneer strip forward and attaches it to the middle layer already formed in the same way by means of the glue layer. As a result of this reciprocating movement of the plunger 1, the rods are pushed into a pressing channel k with the channel walls m, za. The two channel walls can be heated or heated and cooled in a suitable manner in order to achieve a setting of the glue used. The channel walls are arranged in such a way that they exert a braking effect on the upright rods passing through. - For this purpose, the channel walls in and n can be inclined at a slight angle to one another. It can also, as the figure shows: the upper duct wall be displaced in an articulated manner at the inlet end and loaded in a suitable manner at the outlet end. As a result of the braking, your plunger 1 is offered so much resistance that it presses the chopsticks firmly together - and exerts the pressure required for good gluing. The chopsticks emerging from the pressing device form a coherent plate made up of vertical strips of veneer. By means of a saw or some other cutting device, this plate is divided into the required useful lengths in a known manner. Advantageously, this saw moves o transversely to the wood panel at an angle, the setting of which corresponds to the feed speed of the wood panel, so that a right-angled cut is achieved. The speed of the individual devices is coordinated so that an uninterrupted operation is achieved. This uninterrupted operation is not interrupted if it should prove necessary to read faulty, unusable veneer strips between the cutting device f and the upper conveyor belt 7r, since if there is no veneer strip in your press channel 7z, the ram L only performs an idle stroke.
In this continuous operation can also be in front of or behind the
Drying device an impregnation device can be switched on to the veneer tape
to impregnate with rot-resistant, water-repellent or fire-retardant agents.
If the conveyor belts are used to apply the line, the impregnation device can
take the place of the line application device a '. The drying device can
also carried out two or more times on top of each other and the glue application device
can be provided in multiple versions, in order to have several veneer strips at the same time
superimpose and cut in the cutting device.
The device described above allows almost complete
Reconditioning of the veneer tape to the finished product. It doesn't matter either
if knotholes, cracks, etc. appear in the veneer tape, as before
mentioned, flaws for the: middle position are irrelevant.
