Description

Coating consisting of incombustible inorganic substances Fuel briquettes It has become more common in the use of those for heating from. Spaces used fuels turned out to be short-lived, being certain differences arise as a result of the different types of stove, remain in embers. So you can z. B. experience has shown when using lignite briquettes in tiled stoves Expect only a glowing time of about 5 to 6 hours. Now it's already for Various purposes have been recommended to provide heating materials with coatings. So had one z. B. proposed peat by immersion in a water glass solution with a to provide a pebbly coating so that it remains lumpy in the gas generator. One has also tried to make coke usable for household fires by coating with water glass close. It is therefore already known to have fuels with a coating of to coat inorganic, non-combustible substances. The invention is now seen in. the composition of a special coating agent for fuel briquettes.

According to the invention, briquettes are provided with an incombustible coating by that you can divide them into a mixture of q. Divide tone (bolus) and q. Share opaque white, e.g. B. Liihopone, immersed with 15 to 20 parts of water glass, one or more Paint, and then dry. Through a. such procedure is used by the briquette covered with a layer that prevents the heating material from burning down quickly. It is achieved that the briquettes have a better strength when shipping and when Store in the basement, because the treatment makes them much harder, stronger, of course also become dust-proof. Of course, this also means that the heating power remains of the briquettes received. Extended by a coating corresponding to the proposal the duration of the embers of the briquettes to 20 to 24 hours.

The mixture with which the briquettes are coated can optionally a dye or a coloring mass can be added to give the briquettes a special one to give it a pleasing appearance and to make it recognizable as an ember-holding briquette.

Such coated briquettes are expedient in connection with not coated briquettes. Their purpose is to keep the stove burning as long as possible long, so that it is possible after a long time (about 24 hours) by placing new coals on the still glowing briquettes without the aid of Wood and other aids to restart the heating. they are suitable for tiled stoves and other types of stoves in which coals are used, Kitchen ovens or the like. They are also suitable for heating in central heating ovens to get going overnight.
