Die vorliegende Abtritt-Spülvorrichtung besteht aus einem Wasserbehälter, in welchem ein Doppelsyphon so angebracht ist, dafs er nach oben einen Luftrohrbogen e besitzt, welcher aufserhalb des Behälters mit einem Bleioder Eisenrohr verbunden ist, an dessen Ende sich ein in bekannter Weise angeordneter Luftverschlufs c befindet. Wasser in diesem Schenkel steigt, desto gröfser wird der Druck auf die im Schenkel d eingeschlossene Luft, und das Wasser steigt im ersten Schenkel so hoch wie im dritten. Ist die gröfste Höhe erreicht, so läuft das Wasser 'einfach durch den Syphon ohne Saugwirkung ab. Der Schwimmhahn wird so eingestellt, dafs sich derselbe schliefst, bevor die höchste zulässige Wasserlinie erreicht ist; dann bleibt das Wasser so lange in dem Behälter, durch die Luft im Schenkel d gehalten, bis wieder auf den Knopf b gedrückt wird..In the drawing, the flushing apparatus is in a full state.
