Description
Method of reserving water-insoluble azo dyes that are produced on the fiber It is known to use water-insoluble azo dyes, by priming the fiber with o-oxyarylcarboxylic acid arylides or similar substantives Azo components and treating with a diazo compound are prepared by Printing of the primed goods with reservation agents such as aluminum sulfate or sodium sulfite, to reserve.
It is a disadvantage of this procedure that that with the azo component treated goods are easily destroyed and attacked during storage and therefore printed within a relatively short time and with the diazo compound must be treated. Furthermore, it is not possible according to this method, the Reserve printing paste and dye preparations developed by acidic means need to print side by side. Another disadvantage is that it is strong substantive arylides are not perfect. by the soaps that follow the development be removed, whereby a Discoloration of the reserve occurs when the goods are exposed to air and especially light is exposed. It has now been observed that all these evils are avoided, if you have reserves made up essentially of aluminum acetate or some other that Fiber non-damaging aluminum salt consist, preprinted, primed and developed. The reserve printing pastes can contain small amounts of auxiliaries, which are known form an electrolyte-permeable membrane with suitable thickening agents, such as z. B. Manganese chlorine. The preprinted goods can be used as long as you like after printing be stored. Furthermore, in this way it becomes possible to use aniline black preparations and permanent developing preparations for water-insoluble ones, developable by acidic means To use azo dyes for the purpose of producing multi-color prints. Preferably a printing paste containing 25% aluminum acetate is used when carrying out the process contains and is thickened with starch carrier.
Trocknens
erleichtert, vorzugsweise Ammoiiiuin-. thiocyanat,- zuzusetzen.
White patterns with a brown coloration are obtained.
Example e A cotton fabric is made with a reserve paste that consists of 5 g wheat starch powder, 5 g cold, water, 221/2 g aluminum acetate powder, g21 / 2 g of starch thickener and 5 g of ammonium thiocyanate is produced, in addition to aniline black and a printing paste which is an acidic developable stable preparation for manufacture contains water-insoluble azo dyes, printed locally.
To produce the reserve printing paste, the starch and the cold water made a paste with the aluminum acetate and 'finally mixed with the thickener .wird. The ammonium thiocyanate is then stirred in.
A "After printing, the goods are @ steamed briefly to make the aniline black to develop, d then passed through a chamber, the iron or acetic acid vapors contains to develop the insoluble azo dye, and finally with one Solution of x g q., 4 .'-Diacetoacetylamino-3, 3'-dimethyldiphenol, 2i / 2 'ccm sodium hydroxide solution (specific weight 1.45) and 21/2 g of olein padded, dried and again with padded with a solution that contains the following substances: 1% diazotized 1-amino-2-chlorobenzene hydrochloride, 2% formic acid, 125% isopropylnaphthalene-β-sulfonic acid. Treated like that Tissue is passed over rollers in the air until the coupling is completed, and then successively with 0.25 percent formic acid and 0.5 percent sodium bisulfite solution and o, 5% sodium bisulfite solution drawn, rinsed in warm oxalic acid and finally washed with a solution of soap in dilute sodium hydroxide solution; You get white, black and scarlet colored patterns on a yellow background.
